Is Yaamava worth it? I’ll be in the area for a conference and thinking about staying there afterwards.

I live in Pasadena and I’m heading to a conference in Riverside. I’ll be there for 5 days of corporate training and I hate the hotel the conference is being hosted at (but my company is paying for us to stay there, so I have no choice). I was thinking of staying in the area afterwards to book a luxury resort where I can unwind and enjoy some good food and drinks.

I’ve read good things about Yaamava in Highland. The restaurants and spa caught my eye. I'm just not sure if it's worth staying there for a few nights. I do love a Vegas vibe if that helps.

Has anyone stayed there recently? Would it be worth extending my trip after a boring week of training? Open to other resorts as well, if you have a place you recommend!

Does Ticketmaster hold back premium seats from presale?

I go to a decent number of concerts every year but I’ve never quite understood how presale codes work from an inventory perspective versus just waiting for generalsales…

Because I read in a sub that presales are overrated and Ticketmaster/artists/venues intentionally hold back plenty of premium tickets until public onsales? I just wanna know if having access to presale codes would give me first crack at the best concert seats.

Recently went to HGTV’s rock the block and was curious how this sub feels about patio TVs? Do you guys think its tacky or a nice upgrade?

Went the other day to the Rock the Block Season 7 Open House in Summerlin with the Miss to get some inspo for our backyard renovation. While there I noticed that most of them had Outdoors TVs, and Scott and Brooke’s Modern Hacienda had three outdoors TVs, I always thought of them as impractical, specially under the heat and sun in Vegas, but seeing them in their backyards, I have to admit that they looked quite sleek and maybe I was too harsh on them.

You can see in the picture, I think it looks pretty nice but I’m still on the fence about them. Are outdoors TVs worth the investment? Or are they more of a flashy home reality show kind of thing? Obligatory r/tvtoohigh for this one of course.

What’s the best platform to track ChatGPT mentions if I want to close the loop between PR activity and AI narrative?

I’m the CMO at a Series B SaaS in a crowded category. We have a solid PR engine. Tier-1 placements, consistent analyst briefings. Basically our content program is producing things worth reading. The traditional signals look good. I know our share of voice is up and domain authority is moving in the right direction.

On the other hand, I’m in front of my board every quarter and I don’t have anything concrete (enough) to show them in response to questions about AI search. Anecdotally, I know that ChatGPT's narrative about our brand has shifted over the past year. I just can’t PROVE any of that is connected to our PR and content work.

I’m trying to build a feedback loop.

What are people using for this?

Terminator Ancient: What to color cloth?

I am painting up the Terminator Ancient, and am not sure what to paint the cloth in front. I currently have it as white, but am not sure if I should make it a brown or tan (e.g. what's on the box model), or something else.

Any insight from the Iron Council?
