How are you guys actually finding dates

23M here, a Chartered Accountant working at Goldman Sachs. I’m an Iyengar from Karnataka, and I’m fairly new to the dating scene. I was curious about how people in the Tamil Brahmin community actually go about dating.

It seems a little harder when you’re trying to navigate community/caste preferences, sub-sects, family expectations, etc. At the same time, I’m curious how much of that actually matters when people start dating in their 20s.

For those who are dating or have found someone within the community, how did you meet them?

Dating apps? Mutual friends? Work? Family introductions? Reddit? Or just the classic “somehow we met and it worked” route?

Also curious how people balance their own preferences with family/community expectations.

Would love to hear some real experiences from people in their 20s and early 30s. 😂

23M | Bengaluru | Seeking someone with whom silence feels as meaningful as conversation.

I am a Chartered accountant. spend weekdays working with numbers and my free time trying to understand everything numbers can't explain.

Most mornings begin with sadhana, and most evenings usually end with me learning astrology, reading about Vedanta, or getting lost in the Mahabharata and Ramayana.

I like to think I'm a balanced person. Half my feed is Vedanta and philosophy. The other half is Ravi Kishan memes, brainrot, and reels that have absolutely no business being as funny as they are.

I'm ambitious enough to enjoy meaningful work, but not so ambitious that I'd trade peace for a bigger title. I'd rather build a life that's calm, kind, and purposeful than one that simply looks impressive.

One quote I've been trying to understand lately:

"Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything. Between the two, my life flows."

Looking for a \*\*Brahmin\*\* match from Bengaluru or in and around Bangalore.

If you think we'd get along, my inbox is open.

23M | Sadhana. Long walks. Brainrot. Balance sheets.

By profession, I'm a Chartered Accountant working at Goldman Sachs.

Most of my mornings are spent in sadhana, and most evenings disappear into long walks. I'm deeply drawn to the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and the Indian epics, and they've quietly shaped the way I look at life.

Before you assume I'm always serious, my humour is powered almost entirely by brainrot memes. Somehow my feed manages to alternate between profound spiritual teachings and the most unhinged reels imaginable.

I'm not chasing a lavish lifestyle or an endless climb up the corporate ladder. Corporate work pays the bills, but I don't think it's where meaning is found. I hope to eventually spend my life doing work that genuinely serves people.

"I once loved a flower so much, I let it be."

That line probably says more about me than anything else here.

Looking for a Brahmin match, as that's an important personal and family preference.

If any of this resonates with you, drop me a message and we'll talk.
