This is Finn. Or Finneas. Or Finn Finn. Or Finny :)

We took his mom and 3 other siblings in earlier this yr. We were planning on keeping his orange brother, Fry. But this little guy had different plans. He really did “choose” us. We found homes for his siblings/mom. Btw his mom, the sweetest most affectionate stray cat ever. I really do think he has that in common with her :) because this guy is a purring machine, just like his mom. He’s very clingy, affectionate, loves belly rubs, he also loves tormenting his sister (pic 7). At first we weren’t sure it was going to end well, my calico is extremely sassy. But she’s been tolerating him lol. Also, last pic is Finn and him mom Vela. He was such a mommas boy, always following her around and staying nearby. And he’s still very much a clingy boy. Something we are all loving because our calico chooses when she wants to be cuddly. It’s honestly once a day for like 10min and then she’s off to her sunny window. Anyway, just wanted to share a little bit about this cutie patootie :)

I’d like to know if the seller is right on this

I bought some doc marten loafers for about 20 dollars. She said she’d ship Monday due to holidays. This morning I received a message saying she’ll have to cancel the order because her friend said she underpriced them. I’m obviously a little upset but whatever, not much I can do about their decision. They’re saying the cancellation can’t happen because the amount is still on depop? I’m not sure what that means. This is the first time a cancellation has happened to me. I just wanna know if what they’re saying has some truth to it? Or anything I can do on my end.

A little update from my last post. Thank you to everyone who helped :)

A lot of ppl had great ideas, and we went with this. We took down the flag, as well. The little sign was done through Canva :)

Question about signs

My husband got me an LFL for Mother’s Day. So far we’ve had positive experiences. Though today we overheard some kids (middle school age) say that they didn’t have any books with them, and would have to come back tmrw to be able to take one. I do have a flag nearby that says, “take a book leave a book”. Perhaps some ppl and kids are taking it too literal, and maybe I need to find a better sign. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it more inviting? We don’t want our community to think it’s transactional. Tyia!

little flame point sweetheart

In February we took in a mom and her kittens. We had no idea what we were doing, but knew they weren’t safe outside. We set mom and kittens up in a spare room until we figured out what to do. We’d call shelters and organizations and had no luck. Everything was full, or we’d get told to call back certain days, and still no luck. Weeks would pass and my kids started falling in love (I did too). My husband and I talked about keeping one kitten. As a family we decided to keep the orange kitten. He looked like a little clementine, and already had such a big personality. Time passed and still no luck with shelters, so we continued to care for them. During this time, this little flame point would just stare at me. He’d bite my jeans as if he was playing rope (just like my dog), he’d run away from me and didn’t ever really let me pet him. He’d constantly meow, before using the litter box(which took him forever to grasp on to. Plus he’d try to eat it), he’d meow before feeding time, and he started to growl when he’d take possession of a toy. I already have a 4yr old calico who was 7 months old when she was adopted. So I wasn’t sure if the growling thing was a kitten thing or not. Either way, more time passed and he got closer to me. He’d begin to purr anytime I’d walk into their room, giving head bumps, licking my arm any chance he’d get. He became super attached to me. Anywhere I’d go he’d be there, if I stopped he’d stop. His orange brother continues to do orange things. He’s more interested in finding a new adventure, and Finn he just wants to be a part of our routine. I’m so excited to see what our future with this guy looks like. And even more excited to see his relationship with my Calico, Patches.:) I’d love to hear stories about your flame points. Personalities, habits all that jazz. Also, his sister was recently adopted! We are waiting to hear news on his brother, who we named Fry (after our favorite futurama character) Finn was my son’s idea(he reminds him of Finn from Adventure Time).
