i have received this mail from iit guwahati, and im waiting for iiser counselling, please tell me im not like legally obligated to join iit guwahati or something because of this, this mail seems so serious and final, i really really want to get into physics from IISER pune and idgaf about biomedical science or whatever, im just panicking rn pls help me

Hey guys, im a student who just gave the IAT 2026 exam and im getting like 165 marks, so i will most probably be joining IISER Pune(fingers crossed), and i hope to major in physics or maths. Do I need to learn some programming language like python or C++? can some senior please help me out/ let me know the requirements

Will I get IISER Pune at this marks? (+5 in maths since one question is most probably wrong), i expected something in mains, advanced and bitsat and it all went to shit so i dont have any expectations

doubt in this

f(1) has r options, f(2) has r-1 options (f3) has r-2 options and so on till f(l) has r- (l-1) options so the answer should be r.r(-1).(r-2)...(r-l+1)

If I missed any questions please let me know, and also where do i challenge these questions guys

Edit: first 3 questions are prolly right, ill still challenge them just in case but fourth one is def wrong
