AC1999 has been the best nostalgia kick in years

The pre-Dark Majesty experience is a brutal yet rewarding world to start out in. I’ve died numerous times to level 3-5 mobs. Every kill has loot that is a potential upgrade for you. Learning spells is valuable as there are no buff bots and level 1-2 spells are actually a huge boon at low levels. I think the highest level person I’ve seen is 18. Today I ran into 3 other people in Holtburg at the same and it felt like a blast from the past just chatting and assessing each other. I’m only level 5 after about 3 hours and I feel more accomplished than hitting 50 on any other emulator I’ve played on. Give it a try!

Using Legion as a "desktop" with a monitor?

Basically wanting to invest in a new laptop as my Lenovo Yoga is a 2016. I had built a gaming desktop in 2013 but am not wanting to put a bunch of new money into it since I need a new laptop anyway. I am wondering if I can use a Legion like a desktop when I am at home and then like a laptop on the road. I have a nice 24" Asus gaming monitor that I'd like to plug into it, is that possible? And then obviously a keyboard/mouse. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Played (and won) my first game!

Bought the revised core set, sleeved it, and played my first game after watching several YouTube videos and reading the included rules book. I’ve never played an LCG before and mainly bought this because I am a big LOTR fan.

Played the first scenario with the Leadership deck, and it seemed to go pretty well. I’m sure I missed a couple of things but the gameplay was enjoyable and moved at a good pace. Love that it can be played solo.

Just bought The Dark of Mirkwood and the Elves of Lorien starter deck. Happy I found this game.
