Upcoming Fuel Savings 8/18-9/20

I searched and didnt see anything posted about the next savings.

I will be aiming for at least 5 items for the extra 50 cents. Its time to fill the E150 tank 😅 (waited it out as long as I could with NJ fuel prices)

Anyone stocking up on anything good when this next round starts?

What documents should I be submitting and how often?

I (33F) am just making sure that dad (90M) has got all possible documents on file with his FMI agent (who is also our auto agent). I am attempting to digitalize everything over the last 40 years. I will eventually be taking over the house. So im at the point where I understand why dad didnt update anything (not tech savvy, agent that was previously assigned was an hour south etc etc). The current premium is alright I guess. Hes been grandfathered into terms.

Ive sent over roof replacement and screen/storm door replacements from 2018.

Is there a checklist of what should be sent in- general guidance welcome. I did ask our newly assigned agent shes working on several things

Anyone else "fuel savings" stuck?

My main club just got a gas station recently. Prior to that Ive used the gas stations if I was near a club with a station for something like $10 in fuel savings.

Since then using my home clubs station a little bit more- hit the red white and fuel promo and a couple fills ups since. But my fuel savings of my membership wheel is stuck.

Thoughts?.

I did the sign out/in. App clear. App uninstall/reinstall. Emailed BJs too.

Auto insurance giving me the round around for 6 weeks and its getting under my skin

Since June 11. Ive been in contact with my auto insurance for what I thought/should be simple adminstrative work- combine 2 policies into one.

Same company. Some coverage. Same address.

First get told it only saves 100 (lie) then was told by our agent its a lot of work for her and I need to go to change titles. (Fine. Was on the to do list)

Emailed over new titles. Waited almost a week without any word from agent. Called/voicemails left. Emailed mutliple times.

Finally requested a transfer. Was told shed discuss it with a manager. Fine. Since then radio silence so ive emailed again with when I plan to go into the local office.

Nonsense.

Renewal price seems high

For the plus membership with the captial one black card there is a note that renewal will be 165

I know 120 + taxes= I estimated 130/135

Unsure where the other 30 is coming from. I have just a household member.

I wont be paying that renewal fee as ive renewed under NJEA group code for 110 but just found it strange.

Has anyone came back on parental auto insurance as a stepping stone to "take over"

Apologizes ahead of time this may be a little winded and confusing.

I (32F) live with my parents (90M and 70F). I share duties with my mom for dad.

When I bought my car as I started working I needed my own insurance. So I just cut myself my own policy under the company weve been with for years.

Now as parents are aging, im doing the bulk of the driving especially long distances and such, it makes no sense to pay 2 policies to the same company.

The van is under dad solely right now (work in progress with title additions- any tips for NJ also welcome)

My car is titled me and mom ( i needed a cosigner)

Both are paid.

Right now our broker has me back on mom and dads policy as an insured driver. Which does save the house money in the long run but doesnt add in the discounts that I as an educator would get with the company. From my googling I can stack mom and dads grandfathered discounts with my own.

Eventually if the cards are played right with our broker and this company, I would just continue solo (paying more im sure factoring in less drivers and decrease in driving history)

Im not looking to take anything away from mom or dad just trying to make transitions a lot easier for me down the road.

Best promos/items to grab before renewal

I upgraded to plus membership for Aug 2025 to July 2026. To break even I'd need another $20 in rewards before July 31 (can post after renewal)

I have the credit card and I'm waiting for my home club to finish the gas station- which I know will give me 2-3 fill ups- another $7-$10 in savings..

I know theres the spend $150+ and get $0.50 off gas (really $0.65)

Anything else happening now that I'm not aware of?

For 2026-2027 Im renewing with a group code so I'd only be paying $107 (where current spending vs savings would cover it)
