Outdoor electrical junction box for flat wire from house and round wire to new PIR Light?

Hi All,

I need to replace an old outdoor PIR light that doesn’t work anymore in the back garden, but after removing it I’ve found that it’s a flat wire attached directly to it. All new PIR outdoor lights rightly have round wires these days, so I need an outdoor waterproof junction box to hide under the eaves of the roof attached to the external wall. The problem is all the ones I can see online are designed for round wire and if I tried to fit a flat wire it won’t be sealed and water proof. Is anyone aware of any junction boxes that take flat one side and round the other? Or what other options could I try?

Hi all
Many years ago 15+ I went on a tour round London looking at Banksy pieces, and I saw a few pieces of men’s faces wearing bowler hats and Union Jack face masks. Any idea who the artist is? Are they still active?

I guess we all know that (UK at least) we are never going to be particularly rich in automotive engineering, but it had me thinking, are there any side hussles that my skills might be useful for to try and allow for personal finance growth.

Has anyone got a successful side hussle that they are proud of?

Hey Guys,

I’ve never been much of a DnB head, although I’m getting into it slowly.
I found a copy of Fabriclive 18 in my cd collection still wrapped and never played, so I opened it yesterday and gave it a spin and I must say I did really like it.
Where does this land with you DnB experts? Do you think it’s a good mix? Good track list?

Hi all,

I’m after a little bit of advice regarding the ACO strip drain and the bottom of my slightly sloped tarmac with brick edge drive. There has always been the little gap between the drain and the house in some areas, but over a number of years it’s got filled up with dirt and moss etc which has slowly lifted the strip in some areas. I will pull it up and clean it all out and get it laid flat again, but I’d like to fill the gap with something ideally to make it look more finished.

There’s never been an issue with damp just to clarify, but I just want it to look a bit more finished if that makes sense?
