Who's the most overrated director of all time?

Hi! I run a film YouTube channel and am conducting a poll on who the most overrated director of all time is. Here's my guidelines:

What movie director do YOU think is the most overrated by critics and/or audiences of all time? Only type one director, just their name. For example, if think it's Christopher Nolan, just type "Christopher Nolan" with their first and last name capitalized. It helps me sort things much easier that way and makes compiling the results much easier. Thank you!

Link to the poll here. Leave your more in-depth thoughts here.

Made a video essay on Aquaman 2018 in case anyone is interested

Made a YouTube video called "The Bizarre Legacy of Aquaman", talking about Aquaman 2018 overall, how it managed to make over a billion dollars and become the highest grossing DC film to this day, and the future of DC movies and why they seem to struggle. Hope you enjoy!

I think YouTube's falsely shadowbanned my channel

For context, I make weekly video essays about a variety of film topics. I don't use AI WHATSOEVER and my channel's 95% faceless.

Two weeks ago I posted a Batman film video that got 1,100 views, even with a 1.9% rate and 28% AVD. It overall got 43k impressions as of now.

Last week I posted a video about the Oscars, which is one of my channels most popular topics. Despite a 5.8% CTR rate and 39% AVD, it only got 522 impressions. The video only has 40 views, even though engagement is high at this point with eight likes and four comments.

I thought it was just a one time thing, but it was not. This week's video has a 5.7% CTR rate and 33% AVD, and as of now only has 177 impressions. It's doing EVEN WORSE than my last video, and only has a measly 16 views. Mind you I have 450 subscribers; I'm not even getting as many impressions as I have subscribers

I think YouTube's falsely shadowbanned my channel for being some sort of AI slop channel. In case you don't know, Kurzgesagt, a YouTube channel with over 25 million subscribers that does educational animation video essays, had videos reach a record low and found out their channel was falsely detected for AI even though they've never used it before, but had the resources to reach out to YouTube representatives that fixed the problem. Other faceless and animation channels have been struggling with this as well, another example being Real Engineering, with over 5 million subscribers, feels like his channels been flagged as well.

I feel something similar is happening to my channel as well, but there's absolutely nothing I feel I can do and feel my channel's dead. I can't reach out to anyone and I feel all my hard work and thousands of hours of effort were for nothing. If my videos can't even get to a hundred views, there's no point in continuing this channel. And that probably applies to a lot of other channels as well.

If you have any advice or someone I can reach to, I would greatly appreciate it.

(Channel is Eric 9000 in case anyone wants to check it out)

Something frustrating I constantly see here

Everyone I see a post from a creator asking “Why’s my channel failing?” Or “What’s wrong with my channel?”, a majority of these posts are from people who make AI videos with AI thumbnails and use AI for a large majority of their channel and videos. And that’s the exact reason why their channels failing, yet most ignore it and continue on and the cycle repeats itself. I wish that there would be more actual creators on here posting authentic content to give feedback on, not just the same AI slop stuff that’s posted basically every day on here

Game collecting in NYC is terrible...

New York City has some of the most atrocious game prices, especially in Manhattan. Modern games are always the same price as big retail stores, even if they're almost a decade old, and retro games everywhere are always $20 to $30 over market value for all consoles. There's one store (if you know, you know) where practically every Gamecube game is above $100. That's crazy to me!

I know it's expensive to run stores in the city, but some of these games are so ludicrously overpriced that it's easier to buy some of these games online or drive-out somewhere further. Especially since there's no deals and the games that ARE available are usually third-party slop games and rarely any first-party games whatsoever, it's very discouraging buying games whatsoever in the biggest city in America since there's no benefit for doing so.
