Maple hopes you're all having a good week and sends her love!

Also wanted to say thank you to everyone who liked and commented on my earlier post about Maple. It's been really affirming and healing to come here every day and see people sharing and discussing their favorite plushies and being part of a friendly, welcoming community when the world seems so crazy and scary. She loved the attention and we both hope everybody out there is having a good week, and if not, we hope things will get better for you soon!

Starting my own Palm Pals collection

I've recently bought some Palm Pals of my own and given them new names! Meet Dusty the elephant, Winnie the giraffe, and Ben the dino!

Meet Dusty, my new work buddy!

I recently bought this Palm Pals elephant and named him Dusty, and decided to bring him to work with me today. It's my first time taking a plushie outside or to a public place. He's small enough to hide in my pocket and he has a happy, bouncy personality.

This is Maple

This is my first ever Reddit post as a 34-year-old man. I'm deciding to be brave and share about my plush companion, Maple. She is a 2.5-pound 18" weighted plushie I found at Walmart. I bought her last year as a comfort item for grief and anxiety and now she has her own blanket. I brush her every day and sleep with her every night. I've felt very alone in my choice to have a plush companion. My father lives with me for financial reasons and doesn't understand, but he tolerates it. I've been looking for a community that would understand the comfort and beauty of having plush companions and while I generally stay offline and am very introverted, I felt maybe this would be a good place to share.
