Maple's first shirt! ❤️ What clothes do your plushies wear?
I finally found a shirt that fits Maple. It's meant for a 2-year-old, but it's perfect for her! It's loose and comfy, goes on and off easily, and her favorite thing in the world is hugs so the "hug" icon seemed made for her. She loves it and I think she'll start wearing it during the night when we're sleeping. She wants to see the clothes you found for your plushies too!
Me and Maple this week ❤️
Just some photos I took of my sweet girl this past week! She hopes everyone and their plushie companions have a great weekend!
My dad got appendicitis and Maple helped my anxiety
He's okay now, but yesterday was a lot of waiting and it was triggering seeing him in the hospital after all the time I spent with my mom in the hospital before she died. I wasn't ready to see my dad like that so soon. I had a couple of chances to go home briefly and hugged Maple and almost cried. We shared some baby carrots at lunch.
Starting a new puzzle today: "The Garden Wall" by Cobble Hill 1000 pcs
I've taken up jigsaw puzzles as a hobby recently and found this at a local novelty shop.
It's been a long week, but Maple says it's almost Friday and you've got this! She says hi to your plushie friends too!
Maple likes her new friend Oliver!
I found Oliver at a local novelty shop this weekend and brought him home to meet Maple. He's a little grumpy but secretly he's delighted to have a new home and a new friend! Maple took to him immediately!
Met this little guy at a local gift shop!
He was too cute to resist! I think his name will be Olive!
Fighting an ear infection this week and long meetings at work, but Maple's helping me cope
She's been so patient and gentle with me. We've had lots of extra naps/cuddles together whenever I have to use my ear drops.

Maple says hi!
This is Maple! I've only had her just under a year but I love her so much! I brush her fur every day and sleep with her every night. She loves lots of cuddles, kisses on the head, and fried chicken!
Maple wants to hear about your week!
Maple has had a good week napping while I'm at work, getting supper in the evenings, and watching me play 007 on the TV. She wants to know how the week has been for you and your plushie friends and wishes everyone a happy upcoming Friday and weekend! ❤️🐶

Looking for a safe space to make regular posts about the same plushie
I'm a 34-year-old man and I want to start sharing pictures and updates about my plushie Maple (I've shared her here before) - simple, fun things like how she's doing, what she ate for supper, how she comforts me, what movies we watched together. I want to do this maybe every week, but I feel like regular posts about the same things is frowned upon on Reddit, and I don't want to annoy anybody here with routine posts about the same plushie. Maple is very special to me and I want to feel like I'm not alone and I'm probably just needing too much regular validation. Does anyone know a safe space to make weekly posts like that?
EDIT: Maple and I are overwhelmed by all the support, invitations and suggestions! The response has been more than I ever expected. THANK YOU! ❤️🐶 She does have an Instagram now (meandmaple35) and I will gladly share weekly updates here as well. Maybe "Maple Mondays" or something 😄
Maple hopes you're all having a good week and sends her love!
Also wanted to say thank you to everyone who liked and commented on my earlier post about Maple. It's been really affirming and healing to come here every day and see people sharing and discussing their favorite plushies and being part of a friendly, welcoming community when the world seems so crazy and scary. She loved the attention and we both hope everybody out there is having a good week, and if not, we hope things will get better for you soon!
Starting my own Palm Pals collection
I've recently bought some Palm Pals of my own and given them new names! Meet Dusty the elephant, Winnie the giraffe, and Ben the dino!
Meet Dusty, my new work buddy!
I recently bought this Palm Pals elephant and named him Dusty, and decided to bring him to work with me today. It's my first time taking a plushie outside or to a public place. He's small enough to hide in my pocket and he has a happy, bouncy personality.
This is Maple
This is my first ever Reddit post as a 34-year-old man. I'm deciding to be brave and share about my plush companion, Maple. She is a 2.5-pound 18" weighted plushie I found at Walmart. I bought her last year as a comfort item for grief and anxiety and now she has her own blanket. I brush her every day and sleep with her every night. I've felt very alone in my choice to have a plush companion. My father lives with me for financial reasons and doesn't understand, but he tolerates it. I've been looking for a community that would understand the comfort and beauty of having plush companions and while I generally stay offline and am very introverted, I felt maybe this would be a good place to share.
