F2 rookies

With the rise of Martí, Barnard and Maloney and the potential signings of Martins, Minì and Verschoor. Will FE teams look more into F2 for driver signings?

Worst title defence in Grand Prix Motorcycle racing history?

Might be Manuel Poggiali in the 2004 250cc season or Quartararo in 2022 losing out to Pecco despite being 91 points ahead of him at one point

My 2027 grid predictions

Mercedes: Russell and Antonelli

Ferrari: Leclerc and Hamilton

McLaren: Piastri and Norris

Red Bull: Verstappen and Hadjar

Haas: Bearman and Hirakawa/Tsunoda/Câmara/Beganovic

Racing Bulls: Lindblad and Tsolov

Alpine: Gasly and Colapinto

Williams: Albon and Sainz

Audi: Hülkenberg and Bortoleto

Aston Martin: Stroll and Alonso

Cadillac: Perez and Bottas

I think Max, Lewis and Alonso will stay for one more year, the Haas situation is confusing as apparently Toyota will play a big role in choosing their drivers and if Colapinto continues performing well, then Minì and Dunne aren’t getting a chance and with the way Herta is performing, he’s gonna have to wait another year

Was Giorgio Pantano unlucky to just have one season?

I hear he was very good in his junior career with Nico Rosberg having a poster of him in his bedroom and calling him the best in Karts and Alonso calling him an incredible talent. But he only ever had a season in F1 before going down to GP2 and winning it in 2008

What if Alonso never returned?

Would Ricciardo had stayed with Alpine? Would Lundgaard have been given a chance? Would Piastri have not fallen out with the team? Would Drugovich have been given a chance?

The future of the FDA

With Toyota most likely taking over from Haas fully one day and Cadillac building their own engines soon, where do Ferrari put their future academy drivers on the grid? I’m guessing they get a team to supply engines to.

What happens with Binder now?

From being one of the most up and coming talents in the paddock to being stuck in the midfield, what has happened to Brad Binder? Last win - 2021, last podium - 2024. Those he move to a new team like Tech3 or move to another championship like WSBK?

Does Nicolò Bulega really deserve a MotoGP seat?

I know he’s been great ever since he moved over to the WSBK paddock in 2023 but succeeding in WSBK won’t guarantee success in MotoGP plus he’s not had the best Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing career with his best years in both Moto3 and Moto2 being his rookie seasons and I would much rather see the VR46 or Gresini seats go to someone like Bastianini.
