I’m thinking about selling my 17’ STI with 73k miles and getting a 2024 MK8 GTI. I’m wanting something that I know might last me a bit longer and something newer. How do you guys like the gtis? Ive heard the dsg gtis are really good but I feel like I might miss driving a manual. How are the manuals in the mk8?

Should I sell my 2017 sti with 73k miles and get a newer lower mileage veloster n? Will it be that much of a downgrade? I’m wanting something that will last me a bit longer since I know my time with my sti is coming to an end soon with it growing older. Maybe get something else? What do you guys think

Recently been fishing and this car is perfect. AWD to get in some good fishing spots and had plenty of room for rods and gear. Thinking about getting a roof rack to hold some more stuff.

i’m already getting blacked out turn signals for the front but i can’t find blacked out fog lights anywhere. Currently got the yellow ones on.

My 17’ sti is stock other than ots tune i got a week ago. been noticing my af1 learning has been going up more and more everyday. What could this be? I’m about to try cleaning the MAF sensor.

I can’t decide with which route to go. Any suggestions on what to go with and why.

I'm trying to decide on whether to get an intake or catted downpipe for my 17' STI. I've heard that downpipes make more power and I also kind of want more sound as well, so i'm leaning more towards a downpipe. I've also heard good things about intakes so I can't decide on which route to go. I've read online that for the sti's i can't run both at the same time without upgrading my fuel pump and injectors and etc. What do you guys think I should do and what brands do you recommend.

I’ve enjoyed my 17’ sti for a while now and I just envy some of the pops and bangs that regular WRX drivers get. What should I do to achieve this more? I currently only have a muffler delete and im debating on whether or not to get a catted downpipe. I’m thinking on just asking my tuner for some pops and bangs on decel/downshifting rather than a crazy burble tune. Any suggestions on what I should do to get some more pops.

Does anyone know how to replace vvt solenoid for Bank 2 code P000B. I can’t find any videos online

Only 6 months since I had this replaced at the subaru dealership for my 17’ STI for $1000. Just popped up literally while at idle. Is there any chance I can get it fully covered, even though it’s a different bank. The only thing I have done is a muffler delete and a AOS which the previous owner installed. Starting to think that may be way it’s messing up since it has to do with the oil but I have no clue. Any advice or am I just gonna have to pay another $1000. Starting to regret having this car.

The old owner had this fake carbon printed thing on the back trunk that makes it look tacky. How can I remove it and is the regular back still there or did he replace it?
