Should I return / swap?

Hi. This may seem pedantic, but I went in store today and picked up my first Owala. I just inspected it at home and found this small indent / nick on the inner rim of the lid. In the first photo, it's just below and to the right of the letters V43-14.

From what I can tell it's purely cosmetic and doesn't impact the functionality.

Would you bother returning it to exchange for another one or is small defects like this commonplace? Thanks.

Owala - I'm Almost Convinced.

Hi yall. Just a random bloke in New Zealand looking to buy their first reuseable non-plastic water bottle! I'm about to hit the gym again and have been comparing different brands. I am looking first and foremost at functionality, and Owala ticks a lot of boxes.

I almost purchased the YETI Ramber 26oz with straw lid. I was initially attracted to it for its durability but have come across mixed reviews in regard to ease of cleaning, and more importantly, its leak resistance. I want a bottle I can put in a gym bag and not worrying about spillage as well as straw functionality.

I do like the idea of having both sip and chug options integrated. Also, it sounds like the sip option is effortless.

I'm probably going to buy the very very dark or foggy tide. Probably within the next hour or two. So, if you want to help my slightly OCD mind over the decision line, feel free to chime in!

Also thinking 32oz is the best bet. I do like the look of the 26oz, but I'm not fussed about a car holder (you can buy converters for them anyhow, I believe).

Thanks!

EDIT: Got the 32oz Very Very Dark. Posted in another thread I found a little chip on the inside so will return tomorrow to the store to exchange. Will have to hold off on quenching my thirst for one more day. 😄

Looking to upgrade my everyday underwear - great deal (or not) on modal mens trunks

These are only $8

Bendon Man New Era Modal Mens Trunk Black | Bendon Lingerie

Thoughts? I just want straightforward workhouse underwear - no overt labelling, colors etc.

But given there are some god-tier underwear aficionados here and I am a mere pleb, I thought I'd run them by you all first.

Interestingly these are the only modal underwear they stock.

First time Patagonia Buyer (Airshed Pro) - Should I Go Up A Size?

Hi all! Hoping to leverage the expertise of some Patagonia veterans.

I looked all over the place for an Airshed Pro to try on in person (quite a mission living in New Zealand) and finally found a store with a L and XL. When I got to the shop, I discovered their inventory was wrong and they only had a L.

See photos below. It's certainly snug, and at 6'4" I feel I might be pressed for extra length in the arms and torso (I know it's not designed to be a loose fit).

The plan was always to buy online (the black version), but I am thinking an XL. Will be going with a single base layer underneath.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help this newbie out. Cheers!
