Student minor couple selling cookies target price ₱60

hello po!

my boyfriend and I are both 17 years old, and we're planning to start our own cookie business. later, we'll be buying our first oven, and honestly, we're both excited and scared.

i saw a post where someone shared that they only got orders from family and friends at first, and after that, sales completely stopped. It made me overthink because our goal is to sell 85g cookies for ₱60 each, and there are 6 flavors po and i'm worried that the same thing might happen to us.

our total capital is ₱10k, which already includes our oven, baking tools, packaging, and ingredients, so we really want to make the most out of it.

for those who have started a small food business, especially a cookie business, what advice would you give to beginners like us? How did you find customers beyond your family and friends, and what helped your business grow? words of encouragement would mean so much to me and my bf. tyia!

P.S. if everything goes well and our branding is finalized, I'd love to share our Instagram and TikTok account here for anyone who'd like to support our small business :)

Thank you po!
