Was digging through my storage unit today and found the original spare tire for my 02 IS300. Thought it was kinda cool that it spent over 2 decades in the trunk and never once got used! I swapped it a few years ago with the used one from my parts car IS300 so I could leave this one In new condition
Hey everyone, I’ve got an 87 z31 that I did an NA2T build on a few years ago. Recently, the piston rings on cylinder 4 gave up the ghost. I’m planning removing the motor and going through it and whatnot. Replacing the rings, sending off the cams to the Zstore for regrinding, bigger injectors and fuel pump, as well as lowering the compression for a bigger than factory turbo. I would really like to use a pucker fabrication relocation pipe to mount the turbo where the AC compressor mounts. However, I am unsure on what turbo would be fitting for that location. I was also looking at the Godzilla raceworks Garrett GT30 turbo as I know this is a good mostly bolt in modification. I’m not looking for huge power here. Maybe around the 300 range? So here’s my question. Has anyone used the GT30 from Godzilla and had good luck with it? Has anyone used the pucker relocation pipe and found a good turbo that fits in that location nicely? Pictures would be appreciated as well. Thank you.
