My bike was fine one morning then after I got off work it wouldn’t start. I tried to bump start it and same shit

Legal question
I’ve been stationed in California for a couple years and I’m tired of not having my handgun here because I wanna go shooting in my off time. I have a shadow systems but I don’t know if I can bring it into Cali. I’ve talked to different people and heard different things so I have no clue. My guns are in Texas and im stationed in California so any information would be much appreciated thanks. (Also do I need a Cali ccw permit to carry here or since I’m from Texas and in the military am I fine?)
