Welp time to start walking

I assume this was a glitch but still made me think for just a moment the map was really that big and I had so far to walk.

...I mean I'll take the free cash but I won't be happy about it

Tbh wasn't worth the bullet, should've just used a slug. He did scare the hell outta me though as I had been charged by 2 other buffalo while chasing the big one.

Stupid ass ghost child

I think this is the right place for this but while listening to creep cast I remembered this story and figured it wouldn't hurt to post it. Around 2 years ago I was laying in bed, all my cats cuddling up with me and door open in case the cats wanted to leave or one of our dogs wanted to come in. I was home alone for once so I wasn't worried about my sister's coming past my room to annoy me. The way the house is set up my door opens into a small hallway area with my sisters room directly across the hall and a bathroom to the right. I was watching a video on my phone when I heard a small pitter patter approaching my door. Assuming it was my dog I sit up, getting ready to lift him onto my bed if he wanted to join since his back wouldn't allow him to jump up. The footsteps stop right around the corner out of view of my door then, completely out of nowhere and without any sound, I see a roughly child shaped and toddler sized shadow thing run past the doorway into my sisters room and jump onto there bed without any noise coming from the springs. I freeze up and for a solid 20 minutes I'm just very very slowly reaching for a cross on my bed table since I didn't know what else to do. Took me 2 hours of sitting there trying not to panic before family came back and I was able to move again and close my door. I told them what happened but after they checked nothing was on the cameras and it didn't pick up the walking sounds I heard clear as day before. I know it wasn't just a weird shadow or something with the sun, the shadowy thing was too dark, it was a solid shape just without any noticable features. I moved on after a few weeks of sleeping with a Bible and a cross over my door.

3 months after this I had another encounter, this time I was in our living room watching TV. To clarify before I say what happened the way the living room was set up was a couch against the wall of course and a decent sized TV on the opposite wall. Behind the TV is a chimney for the fireplace under it, the room behind the couch is the garage, the wall to the right goes directly into my room, and the wall to the left is a large window to the front yard. While watching TV I suddenly hear knocking. Loud knocking but not hard. It sounded like a normal knock on the door if you were right next to it, but the knock came from dead center of the 4 walls all at once. I heard no overlap but I could feel it in my skull, it had came from 4 different places. This was of course scary as hell since 2 of the places shouldn't be able to even make a sound close to knocking on a wooden door and one was where I sleep. I acted like I didn't hear anything and waited a few minutes before walking over to my mom's room and asking her if she heard the knocking since her room was in the corner next to 2 of the places, she said she hadn't and told me I probably just imagined it but It was far too vivid and set off that feeling you get when someone's at the door. At this point I assumed there was a ghost in our house since it was a bit old and figured I'd have to just live with it.

2 weeks after the knocking I was in the kitchen making myself a microwave burrito. My phone was charging and I was just gonna wait the 2 minutes in silence. Out of nowhere I hear a giggle so loud it's noticable over the normal microwave sounds. At this point I was used to these weird things and wasn't as scared but something about it was weird. I heard it like it was a kid giggling over a game in the other room but there's so buffer. No echo that any video or talking in that room would normally have so this made me pause more out of confusion. The giggle sounded like it was going straight through the brick of the chimney and into my skull, before getting cut off right before the giggle starts to die down. I moved on and haven't had another situation like that in a while now but I still remember it so vividly.

Not expecting anyone to believe this blah blah blah you know the thing. But it happened, it didn't end with a exorcism I'm not cursed and I moved on, still find it as a interesting story though.

Airborne buffalo

Had a joke for this but forgot it. Was still having a decent hunt though with at least 40 buffalo and 4 gold. And I only got charged 6 times so I'm counted this whole hunt as a win.

Mythical Cape buffalo

I got so excited when I say mythical through my binoculars and managed to land a lovely shot, dropping it in roughly 8 seconds before getting to it and realizing it was the difficulty. Still a gold and going on display and I at least used the right rifle this time but damn I was thinking mythical was a tier above legendary or smth.

New to the game

It's as the title says I'm fairly new to the game, just started yesterday and saw there was a subreddit for it so figured I'd ask if y'all got any tips for advice. My current hunting strategy is aim for the stomach or chest and if the blood splatter after they run is vital or It just seems like a challenging hunt I pursue. Some small things I noticed as well that I wanted to fact check is that predators hunt prey animals. If they do what happened to the preys body? Is it just dropped and left or do they actually sit and eat it? Also do animals poop a lot more before bleeding out from vital injuries? I included the lion shot because this was the first legendary animal I got and I saw some other post talking about how cool certain kills were or how rare certain things were, how do y'all tell what's more rare with them? Apologies if these are stupid questions but I ain't never been much into hunting in any sense till now so it's all very new to me.

Roughly a dozen times now I've joined a lobby, had someone join later on that I had blocked then had the host start yelling at me I needed to be unblock the person/be respectful. I didn't consider it a big issue originally but after talking to my friend on the game a good few had this issue too. Most recently I had someone that I blocked for calling me and others slurs and insults for no reason. The host started defending them and telling me I wasn't allowed to block anyone on this game. Worst one I've seen was a whole lobby of about 9 people making jokes and calling me a pedo due to my username slightly resembling a YouTuber that was exposed for such. Someone else joined that they knew and started agreeing with me before they kicked him and continued to insult me and make disgusting jokes and started to fully accuse me. I blocked everyone in the lobby of course and moved on. Around a week later I find out one of them joined a lobby I was in and the host immediately told me I needed to unblock them. I was enjoying the lobby before this so I agreed and just kept them muted. I unmuted them at the host request and they immediately started insulting me again so I remuted them. The host started defending them and telling me I couldn't take a joke so I blocked her as well and moved on again. This has happened where the host seem to defend anyone for any reason if someone has them blocked. I've met maybe 3 since that will just kick them because they join and try to start drama.

Not hoping for tons of attention or anything to come of this post but I'm just wanted to know if my luck is just horrid or if anyone else has noticed this as a issue.
