1984 essay on surveillance?

I’m writing a literary essay about 1984, specifically I wanna focus on the methods of surveillance they used and the effects of it and how that connects to real evidence in our world.

My main points of evidence will focus on the philosophy on the panopticon, references to criminology, and how self-surveillance is being applied in modern days with how the newer generation has fear towards being recorded or shamed. It’s kind of all over the place, but I just really need a good thesis to argue for it. I’m not supposed to have an argument that’s too obviously pointed out in the book, but I find the idea of how they used surveillance so interesting I’m not sure how to construct it into an effective thesis.

I have all the research I need, I just gotta connect it a bit. Any tips would be helpful…

Why does my hair smell like egg everytime I go outside.

My mom has noticed that everytime I come home from school, usually in cold weather, I have a strong egg smell from my hair. She thinks it smells bad. She notes that my cat smells like that too everytime he goes outside in cold weather. Why is this happening? My cat is long hair and fluffy, I have thick long dense hair so I’m definitely trapping something. But what exactly? How do I avoid this.

I’ve always struggled with deciding what to do, and when I came across cogsci it’s like a lightbulb had switched, something that incorporated everything I loved, the perspectives, subjective side as well as the more analytical, logical side. But it’s such a vague program that doesn’t actually give u an expertise in any special field, I’ve heard there’s neurocompsci but it’s a small exclusive field with limited content. It’s such a bummer because this is like the holy grail of a course, it’s genuinely genius in every way. There’s a cogsci program being offered at a uni I got accepted in, should I go?

One of the biggest ways, maybe even the biggest way to promote and regulate brain health is to exercise. I kid you not, started running a mile a day and after like two weeks my brain fog was fucking gone. It’s literally the easiest prevention for brain degeneration. Destiny can literally afford to too. The next thing is diet, proper diet can change the way your brain functions entirely it’s absolutely insane. I only say this because if you’re a debater where you literally need to think fast, you need more energy. That means you need a better diet, and if you want that diet to do anything good, you need to exercise. I’m not even being pushy, it’s absolutely insane how stiff he is and he doesn’t see an issue with it at all. Get off those reels bud
