pls help. how to turn my flat hair wavy
pls help a brother out. I’ve been struggling with my hair for more than a year now and honestly don’t know what else to try. I’ve already experimented with salt spray, but it hasn’t really helped.
My current routine is pretty simple: I shampoo and oil my hair once a week. That’s basically it. I have fine, straight hair, and I’m trying to figure out how to make it look healthier, fuller, and more textured without completely damaging it.
I’m not sure if my routine is the problem, if I’m washing too little, or if I’m just using the wrong products. I also don’t want to start buying a ton of products without knowing what actually works.
If anyone has similar hair or has gone through something like this, I’d really appreciate some advice. What shampoo/conditioner do you use? How often do you wash your hair? Do you oil regularly, and if so, how often? And are there any styling products that actually work for fine, straight hair without making it greasy or flat?
Would especially appreciate advice from people who have dealt with this for a long time rather than just generic “use this product” recommendations.
