Hard Dance Techno Artist - Three Tracks [Hard Dance]

Rediscovering 90s trance + breakbeats while releasing music

I went to a techno party recently and heard a bunch of classic 90s trance and techno tracks. It reminded me how much I love that era - big emotional synths, hypnotic grooves, and raw energy.

That night genuinely inspired me to get back into releasing music.

I ended up finishing and dropping a 3-track project built around that feeling: trance-heavy melodies, aggressive breakbeats, and some pretty filthy drops. BPM ranges from 145 to 155.

I’ve been experimenting with mixing nostalgic 90s energy with a more modern harder edge.

Curious; what are your favorite old-school trance/techno tracks that still hit today?

Also, here is the EP if anyone wants to hear it: https://soundcloud.com/streeter-dj/sets/iced-out-wrist?si=cd03209a17fb4a1995286eaee9462f7e&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

I released 4 techno tracks straight off my hard drive * Curious which one hits you hardest * * Happy to trade feedback too, always down to listen and talk music. *

I’ve been sitting on these for a while and finally decided to share. This is a small series of 4 techno tracks, pulled straight from my hard drive. A blend of Hard Bounce, UK minimal, and classic techno.

These aren’t just tools for the club. They’re melodies designed to make you feel something inside. Utilizing tension, release, movement, pressure. I spend a lot of time designing drums and composing layers in my DAW, and this batch really reflects that process.

I’m curious what actually connects with people, so I’m asking honestly: which track is your favorite and why?
Inspired by artists like Stef de Haan, DJ Physical, Diffrent, Mischluft, DBBD.

*Happy to trade feedback too, always down to listen and talk music.* Link: https://soundcloud.com/streeter-dj/sets/woot-there-it-is-x-in-dis-this?si=37abc1e818634d2aa64042f00d0a3e70&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

Stream ⋆╰☆╮ 𝒮𝓉𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓉𝑒𝓇 ╮☆╰⋆ | Listen to Woot, There it is x In This Bih x Actin' Tough

Free DL included!!!

Mastered by yours truly!!

⋆╰☆╮**WOOT, THERE IT IS × IN DIS THIS × ACTIN’ TOUGH** ╮☆╰⋆

A few rough cuts pulled straight from the hard drive; built with a mix of MIDI, one-shots, and sampled textures. A little late to the party with these edits, but they were too fun not to share.

Super unserious beats with serious bounce. Expect raw energy, weird ideas, and late-night chaos.

If you’re vibing with it, drop a like and any reposts are massively appreciated. 💜🎧

Read if you want: Ranging from 140bpm to 150bpm each track is an effort to keep posting on a consistent basis. It is incredibly challenging not to create garbage repeatedly. Ideas are supposed to be unique, and I want each song to be its own feeling. Most top 100 artists all sound the same. My tracks have only one similarity, kick drums, and hi-hats, as I’ve been exploring sub-genres on a consistent basis.
All songs used the same stems with changed arrangements and effects, each with a slightly different vibe. Yes, I know this sounds insane. This originated from creating the first song ‘Fancy’ which was Hard House inspired, but still seeking more proggy groove. The day after I created ‘Dancing In My Room’ a super proggy groovy techno track.
When looking back at how I made two ideas from the same stems got me brainstorming as I was not fully invested, I thought to myself the third time could be the charm. Then I had the idea to use the framework from Dean Turnley’s ‘Actin’ Tough’, which is blowing up, where I came up with ‘Ubiquitous Synergy’.
It surprised me how different of a mood each song can make me feel, yet they used the exact stems.
‘Untitled Street Mix’ was the most recent production which explores dark bass undertones in both rhythmic and sporadic patterns. As always, there is the donkey offbeat hard house sound but with a tight hypnotic bassline, topped with rave melodies garneted to make you move. I kept it simple; there’s builds and sweeps but overall, super chill compared to my other releases.

Genre: House
Label: Self Released
Aesthetic: Dark Hypnotic Big room
