A raw copy of the Wanted Luffy sold on Mercari last night for $19,787.20 USD. I believe this is an all time sale for this card.

For those who don’t know, this is one of the really early Japanese One Piece tournament cards from 2002. It was given to the Top 5 winners, and It’s estimated that there are only 15 cards of this card in existence.

Personally I think this is one of the grails of vintage one piece. It may not be as scarce as others (eg championship/tournament winner) but it’s got all the fundamentals of a grail being Luffy, iconic wanted art, tournament card and only a limited number of copies available.

It will be interesting to see how this card tracks, including all the other vintage OP tournaments (Japanese and English) over the years 🤘

2018 GEORGIA × Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary QUO card.

It is a Japanese QUO Card, a prepaid gift/payment card.

The ¥500 cards were part of a 20-card collection, awarded to only 1,000 winners in a Georgia promotion.

I’m a big fan of the art on this card, these can also be graded by PSA from what I have seen.

I have noticed the 2006 Naruto - Series 1 starter box prices have risen a lot over the last few months. Are these still a good long term hold? Has there been a reason for the recent run up in prices?

The 2002 One Piece Wanted tournament cards are in a league of their own based on their scarcity and rarity. The Gol D Rogers card in particular is limited to only 3 copies ever made.

I came across this today at Cardcon (Melbourne card show). Are you seeing more vintage One Piece at card shows, or still mainly modern?

I recently picked this item up and thought it was pretty cool. It’s a 2002 Naruto vending insert (Japanese). My understanding is that these can get graded from BGS and CGC. Has anyone else picked up any of these? I think they are a cool part of history 😊

PSA were promoting their vault services, and they used a 2005 Luffy Gold Rare PSA10 in the photo.

Picked up this vintage Luffy card and noticed it has a spelling error. Instead of saying "Far Away" it says "Far Awey" which I thought was really cool.

This card is from the 2000 One Piece Data carddass master set.

Are there any error cards in Vintage OP that you have found like this? Feel free to share!

Just saw that a One Piece vending machine display - first stage sold for around 10k US.

Most of these Japanese vending displays were either destroyed over the years, or had the bottom section cut from below after use. Finding these today have been incredibly difficult to find.

These vending displays can be authenticated by CGC. A very cool piece of OP history! I like that it’s also got the luffy c01 rookie at the front too.

A couple of huge vintage OP sales from the 2005 One Piece - The Quest Begins set today.

There is definitely a lot more eyeballs and big collectors/money joining this space!

Love the art and look of this card 🤘 looks even better in a Pristine 10 CGC slab

These two cards are from the 2008 Dragon Ball x One Piece collab from Weekly Shonen Jump 40th anniversary in 2008.

I was very fortunate to receive CGC Pristine 10 grades for these cards. I wonder if One Piece will collab with Dragon Ball in the future or maybe another powerhouse like Pokemon?

I also think the connecting type cards are cool.
