Game honestly appears decent, but don't want to spend 10 hours just to regret it..

My friend turned in his defect Xbox controller, they sent it back to him a couple weeks later. But they did a critical error, he received a Xbox Series X instead.
My friend claims that they did it on purpose, that sometimes it cost them more to send an item back to their warehouse, so they instead send it to a customer.. is that a thing?
He plans on selling it now, I told him to atleast wait 1-2 months, he said i am being excessive. If you guys could predict, what do you think will happen? Is it true that they may have given it to him for free?
I dont care if its a gacha. After 2-3 years as f2p the game has gotten a bit too easy, I also have way too many characters.
I prefer 3D, not some low budget 2D game. & Turn based of course..

De säger att Sverige inte borde blanda sig in, att de skickar alldeles för mycket pengar, att vi borde fokusera enbart på de som bor i Sverige etc. Att ukrainare särbehandlas bättre än andra folk från krigsdrabbade länder

I find the game to be boring once you have too many powerful characters. Part of me want to start fresh but its probably stupid. Curious though if its something people do
It seems very hyped though. I am average/decent at shooters, returnal was a difficult game and very unforgiving. Also a roguelite on top of that, and the upgrades you find doesn't make you that much stronger..
I think many people will quit saros early on probably not knowing what they got themselves into
