Need Advice: Interview at RT-MSSU (MBA Innovation & New Venture) – Can I get Day-1 Incubation access for my ready MVP?
Radhe Radhe guys,
I have my admission interview scheduled at Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University (RT-MSSU) for their "MBA in Innovation & New Venture Management" program.
Here is my situation: I have already built a fully functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) website using Framer for my cultural-tech startup project (named "Prem Nikunj"). My pitch deck is also ready.
I recently spoke to their coordinator and found out that the first 6 months (initial trimesters) are going to be completely common/traditional with regular classroom lectures and standard theory exams for all MBA streams. The core specialization and incubator tracking seem to kick in much later.
Honestly, I don't want to waste 6 months just sitting in a traditional classroom doing zero execution. My goal is to start building and scaling "Prem Nikunj" from Day 1.
**My questions to alumni or anyone familiar with RT-MSSU / I-SPARK Foundation:**
Is there any provision or workaround where a student with a pre-ready working MVP can get access to the I-SPARK Incubation Centre and mentor allocation right from Day 1 (after daily lectures)?
Can we apply to their incubator separately as an incubatee while pursuing the MBA parallelly so that we don't have to wait for the academic timeline?
How flexible is the panel if I directly pitch this "Dual-Track" requirement (Attending classes + Day 1 incubation access) during my interview?
The fees are around ₹4 Lakhs for two years, and I really don't want to sink that money into a program that forces me to keep my startup as a mere side-project for the first year.
Any insights on how the ground reality of the I-SPARK incubator operates would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
