How does Saturn 1st house square natal mercury transit effect my sense of self?

There's a strong loss of self-esteem, drastic bodily changes and there is a recurring pattern of past remedies. I keep facing things that I buried long ago and they effect my mental health. I want to go through this transition and evolve my personality accordingly. Especially on the topic of self esteem. It squares my mercury which rules over my stellium and stelliums house.

What would be the explanation of this transit, the impact of it to my first house and my Mercury which is ruler of my stellium and how should I guide my way? Thank you.for further assistance.

Saturn transiting 1st house

What are the general characteristics of this transit and how can I understand it?

It seems it's strongly related to a loss of sense of self, disrespect to oneself, and patterns recurring from the past to harm oneself.

What would happen if also Saturn squares natal Mercury, which is the ruler of a stellium? I interpreted this as a bother to mind due to the loss of self and mental struggles.

I am also curious about Saturn retrogrades and it's impact. Considering the sign it is Aries right now how would the retrograde manifest as an energy?

Thanks for your further help.

Bad transit?

This year, my past traumas resurfaced. People from the past and memories seem to be apparent in my life despite all blocking and forgetting. I feel insecure and vulnerable all the time. Doubtful of my relationships. I often worry about feeling undesired as a friend and mutual. How should I handle this? Why do I feel like I am no one’s friend?
