Here's some food for thought :
Do u perhaps think the main intention behind VP singh implementing the mandal commission was not just to create job opportunities for the obc but the underlying intention was to create a social class divide between the upper classes and the middle classes.
He was highly ostracised for this decision during his tenure.
The upper class not only resented the commission but there was now a social tag which was forever stamped with the obc / middle class people that they would forever be "reserved" category.
Now why would anyone create a deliberate divide between the upper class and the lower classes?
We know how once the aristocratic classes were stripped of power , a lot of them joined the common masses and started intermarrying with them.
This mainly happened all across the globe but much lesser in india due to casteism.
Reservation further increases castesism and promotes same caste marriages.
The main idea being that implementing the Mandal commission was not just to create job opportunities for the middle classes but also to create a social divide between the upper class people and the lower class such that our long standing same caste marriage tradition would still hold on.
Also would like to add that SC/ST act was implemented during VP Singh's tenure.
Another fuel to the fire.
Would like to hear ur thoughts comrades.
Astrologer - u/SetOriginal6426
I would like to give a review for my chart reading done by u/SetOriginal6426
The analysis started with them telling me about my past experiences and asked questions about things which happened to me in the past. To my surprise all of them were true.
Then the analysis went towards me asking specific questions regarding my life like marriage , health and career.
u/SetOriginal6426 covered each topic extensively and gave a detailed explanation of all my doubts.
They even gave me astrological remedies for badly placed planetary alignments.
Overall, the review was in-depth and highly engaging.
u/SetOriginal6426 was very patient with the entire process and reassured me from time to time.
Highly recommended to get you chart read by u/SetOriginal6426 !
Rajputs must accept that their real enemies come from the Brahmin community in every field. They are against you. An enemy from behind is the most dangerous kind of enemy. These people have problem with Rajput identity.
Rajputs should stop this online petty fighting against Jats, Gujjars, Ahirs, etc., because those communities are merely the masks; the real handlers are Brahmins and their agenda.
Rajputs in the medieval age did not give any special preference to Jats, Ahirs, etc. Our forefathers were, unfortunately, donating to these cunning Brahmins, strengthening Hindu faith and promoting Brahminism. Those other castes moved ahead over the last 100 years and achieved development based on their own merit. Their present generations may be against Rajputs in the context of democracy, but their older generations in the distant past were not necessarily against Rajputs. If you read history, you will understand this argument.
The Rajput community is generally straightforward in its thought process and character, lacking the kind of political cunning often seen elsewhere. These pastoral and landed groups, such as Jats, are also generally straightforward in their thinking. Both camps fail to recognize the more complex game allegedly played by one particular priestly caste.
How did this priestly caste work against Rajputs?
Look at history up to 1947. The elite section of Rajputs consisted of princely state rulers, large taluqdars, and zamindars, depending on the region. Through Congress and in the name of the Independence Movement, Brahmins allegedly hijacked the party. At the same time, many of the jobs offered by the British administration and civil services were captured by Brahmins.
These people carefully cultivated various movements against Rajput elites. You can read Rise of the Plebeians by Christophe Jaffrelot for this argument. You may find its analysis surprising.
By the time of Independence, they had allegedly taken complete control of the Congress Party and passed laws that significantly weakened Rajput elites. Most Chief Ministers were chosen either from the Brahmin caste or from social groups that Brahmins would not challenge because of their own limited numbers. Whenever an elite group takes a major hit, the wider community loses its primary voice. Gradually, the political capital of Rajputs declined.
During the same period, Brahmins allegedly promoted an "obsession with being Kshatriya" among newly mobilized castes. Why? they understood that the Kshatriya role had become largely redundant in a democratic system and could serve as a distraction. This encouraged those castes to focus on claims to Kshatriyahood rather than questioning the disproportionate privileges that Brahmins had accumulated during the previous century through British institutions and later through Congress. In this view, it killed two birds with one stone.
Rajputs became locked in perpetual conflict with these castes over an outdated notion of "Kshatriyahood," creating unnecessary bitterness between communities. At the same time, these groups remained engaged with Rajputs rather than questioning Brahmins for what had happened in the past.
I can confidently say that on any multi-community platform, handles associated with Brahmins appear to be among the most hostile groups toward Rajputs behind the scenes. This is my personal observation.
The sad part is that many Rajputs remain stuck in the rhetoric of "Upper Caste " and, in doing so, end up supporting narratives promoted by Brahmins and organizations they allegedly control.
In the coming years, Rajputs may be digging their own graves through this behavior.
I hope the moderators allow this post.
