Brand new box at an estate sale. Paid $50 for it. Is it real?
Southern Louisiana. Second time with them coming out of an outlet/switch box. This time they seemed to be heading to/from a window. Both times they are on the same wall.
Car has 100k on it. Twice now on long trips (1.5 hours+) the AC will be blowing fine then all of a sudden no air is coming through the vents. Throw the AC on high and I can hear the blower motor working but no air comes through any of the vents, even after playing with the climate controls. Sometimes it’ll start blowing through the vents then stop again. I drive the car to work daily, an hour each way, and I’ve had no issues on that drive.
If it’s the actuator (which to me this is what it’s pointing at) how do I figure out which one it is? There appears to be three, blend left, blend right, and mode.
Also is there any likelihood this could be the AC condenser? I know there is a service bulletin for replacement of the condenser if it goes out due to widespread failures. Correct me if I’m wrong but if it were the condenser, I should still have air blowing through the vents, albeit not cold air.
EDIT: When I pop the cover off of the cabinet filter the air being pushed through the blower is as hot as the outside air if that helps with potential diagnosis.
