I start very soon and i just realised, what am i supposed to wear on the first day because it is just a trust induction, nobody has mentioned anything in relation to this.
I was genuinely going to rock up in jeans and shirt and have potentially made the worst first impression possible until it dawned on me. Anybody who did their hospital pre reg can u recall what u wore on the very first day before u got given scrubs or anything like that?

Hello, starting my pre reg soon and i've scoured a few threads in regards to training providers and although revisepharma is one people seem to recommend, i also came across another thread stating how for the most part his content isn't detailed enough and he just reads through the slides. Could anybody please confirm if they think this platform is enough for the clinical side of things? Also if you could recommend good providers for calcs too it would be much appreciated.

How do you guys deal with this? i.e. words you don't fully understand the definition of. I find myself constantly picking up the phone or the dictionary to find the meaning of words and i do this quite obsessively and it definitely disrupts the flow of my reading and limits immersion. However at the same time it really annoys me and i can't just skip over it if i don't know what a word means or even if i just have a vague idea of what the word means and can figure it out from the rest of the sentence i still find myself looking the word up to find the exact definition.

Any tips/advice/guidance/anecdotes would really be appreciated.

Yes, i know the answer is pretty clear however with that being said by what means, mechanisms and tools can i utilise to build myself up slowly.

I know the advice is to start with writing short stories but can anybody recommend me towards where i can post my short stories and where i can get feedback and advice so i can improve? Are there any particular websites, subreddits, resources etc..?

Just looking for some general guidance or even mentorship for somebody just now heeding the call.
