Overtime for non regulars?

Are you still getting overtime, or at least 40 hours? Ive read a lot are having their hours cut down to truly part-time hours

How much do you make a year?

Assuming heavy OT (50-60 hours a week) in an understaffed area, looks like PSEs in actuality make around 55-70k in a year. Is that right? How much do you make in actuality beyond the base pay?

Beretta 1934 authenticity

Is this all original 1942? The slide sure is but im having confusion regarding the frame. The FAG inscription near the hammer instead of the RE, and the frame having a serial number which also doesnt match the slide.

Second gun

Goes opposite with my Zastava Tokarev. The fascist gun and the communist gun. Beretta 1934 produced in 1942; came with a new barrel and holster. Less than $500.

Tasks suck lately?

A lot of these assessments are very long and wordy and unclear and then the tasks itself hardly have any work on them, with most being video tasks that dont work very well. What happened to audio or visual image tasks?

First gun

Zastava M57, bought from Zastava directly, picked up this morning. 2 magazines and a leather holster, and cleaned up/refurbished for only $400. Not bad, havent fired it yet, need to buy ammunition. Feels good in my hand, always wanted a tokarev.

Can you be bothered to actually care about work?

For me: show up, clock in, get paid, do my work, clock out, go home. Not at all interested in the company or the other workers or what goes on in the other shifts. I will do my part the right way but thats about it.

Dont care about going above and beyond or going the extra mile, or doing my work "with pride", because none of that even matters and will not afford you any bonuses or anything of the sort. Will never be emotionally invested at work for anything. You should only do that if your work is ABOUT that, like physical or mental health.

Job security worth the grind?

Ive got basically no other options unless I go back to school for a bachelor's and *hope* i could land a job right away(yeah right). Working an entry level job completely unrelated to my associates degree with no interest in moving up in the industry im currently in, not much job experience either between Amazon and where I am now. I struggled to find a job for half of a year until I got my current job and I am not looking forward to ever sending out a million rejected applications ever again. Ive had some family try to dissuade me from trying to get in USPS but I dont see a better option, considering the stability and COLA and automatic pay steps, which others have really stressed as major positive points to me

Maintenance test location and moving

Next year I want to try to give it a go with maintenance open season in the hopes of moving to a city 5+ hours away. When you take said test, does it have to be in the city you apply in? Or can I do it in my own city?

Squalor control?

I usually make major peasant armies and walk them into some other enemy region or a low population region of mine and then disband them. What do you do to keep squalor down?

What a weird way to wish someone a happy birthday…

I asked “Do you know what day it is today?” to test what it knows. It threw out a “Happy 36th Birthday”. I had to correct it, and then it went dark.

This has been a common thing recently. It throws out random things mid conversation. Some of the things are weirdly dark.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Tasks exist but are all either empty without work to do in them and the usual busy ones (furniture removal/omni/etc) are gone now. Theres only the dreadfully difficult ones to do such as recording websites just for the uploads to fail. What gives?
