HELP!

Good morning all,

I am seeking advice! I'll make a long story short. I took out a loan when I initially quit my job for about 35k which was extremely dumb. I thought I wasnt going to have enough money to last until my next job and I ended up blowing it. The plan now is to pay it off in 7-9 months which takes way to long. Im military and was going to get out for good however, its offering a bonus for 25k +10k if you go to a certain unit. Im saying all this because I am an aspiring real estate investor I bought my first duplex at 24 and they have this single family home that has alot of room that I really want. I quit my job because I got accepted into another position within the company but they didnt let me go because I havent been my current position long enough. The main downside of the military is 3 year commitment. If you've been keeping up with the news you'll understand. Im currently 25 and work for a Congressman. The amount that touches my bank account per year is just a tiny bit above 100k. I also dont have any 401k plans besides the TSP. My position only lasts 2 years but im not worried about a job the connections have been fantastic being only 2-3 weeks in.

Im impatient and dont want to wait 7-9 months. I want to buy my property, collect the compounding interest of life.

Please tell me your thoughts and opinions and what you would do.

Thank you all so much!

Can you have 2 applications open at once?

Can you have 2 applications open at once? I already have 2 open for Border Patrol Agent and now I have one open for CBPO I think id perfer to be an officer. What are the odds that I I'll be able to get Dallas and or Houston IAH as an officer? The only thing im waiting on is the box test. I also noticed my Medical has stalled could it be that I am receiving 100% disability from the military? I passed all tests for medical 2-3 weeks ago.

SHOULD I REAPPLY OR JUST TAKE WHAT I HAVE

Good evening all,

Added my security forces experience to my resume and asked for reconsideration from GL5-GL7/GL9.

Should I just stick with what I have or continue trying for higher grade.

Thanks in advance.

ENTRY AT GL 5

Good morning all,

I would to get an opinion, I received a tentative job offer at GL5 but I would much rather try and fight for at least GL7. Can you guys look at my resume and provide any guidance or tips. I applied for USSS and they gave me an offer for GL7 however, I have no degree. I understand agencies and their requirements are different but I would really like to start at GL7.

Thank you and have a great day!

ENTRY AT GL5

Good morning all,

Would it be worth trying to fight for GL7? I applied with the USSS and they gave me GL7 but since I had no degree I wasnt able to get in. I understand different agencies have different requirements but I do not want to start at GL5.

I would love to know your thoughts and opinions.

Thank you and have a great day!
