Dream Catcher | BulkWeedInbox | June 2026

I was in the mood for something a lil more balanced since FIFA is happening in my city and I wanna join the festives. I wanted to be out and about so didn’t want something too couch locked.

The bag had a pretty loud smell right away. Sweet berries with a bit of fresh fruit with a bit of creamy note underneath.

Buds were a mix of sizes, mostly medium with a few bigger ones mixed in, which is the large one i filmed. Nice sticky caked texture, fairly dense without feeling rock hard, and absolutely loaded with trichomes. Some deep purple patches running through the green buds too.

The smoke was smooth overall. I got more of the berry flavour on the inhale, while the exhale leaned a little creamier with a mild earthy finish. Burned evenly and stayed pretty clean the whole session.

Your favourite activity in the city so far?

I know there’s been a mix of public viewing spots, fan zones, pop-ups, etc. but I haven’t managed to hit all of them yet. I went down to the one at PNE the other night and it was pretty fun just seeing the crowd energy even if it was packed and a bit chaotic getting in.

Curious what everyone else has checked out (bars, clubs, watch parties). Anything that actually stood out as worth going out of your way for?

Meat Breath | Pacific Cannabis | June 2026

Opening the bag was all gas, earth, and funky savoury notes. Definitely not the prettiest or sweetest smelling strain I've had recently, but it had way more character than a lot of the stuff I've been smoking. The high ended up being what stood out most though. Started off pretty upbeat and mood lifting, then slowly settled into a relaxed body buzz without completely shutting me down. I’m really liking these older-school gassy profiles after getting burned out on all the dessert strains.

What are you using to avoid mosquitos that are natural?

Heading into hiking season and I’ve been trying to figure out what everyone's using for mosquito protection. Preferably something natural.

I’m pretty allergic to bites so it’s not just annoying for me, they blow up pretty fast, get super swollen, deep red, and insanely itchy for days. I’ve tried a couple natural sprays already but most of them seem to wear off really fast (like maybe 1 to 2 hours tops if I’m moving around or sweating).

Curious to what people are relying on for longer hikes (6 to 8 hours ideally). Not super interested in heavy chemical stuff if there’s solid natural options that actually hold up.

Best bulk weed deals in Canada right now?

I've been ordering bulk weed online for over 5 years now (still usually works out cheaper than the local stores for me) and I've noticed that the places with the biggest sales aren't always the places I end up reordering from.

I’m not trying to the find the cheapest ounce and rather find shops that are consistent. I've had pretty good experiences with places like Get kush, Bulkweed Inbox, Bulkcanna and a few others over the years, mainly because the quality has stayed fairly consistent.

Some of these are places I've been ordering from since around 2021, so I'm curious to see what are the new sites for bulk weed in 2026? Any new shops impressed you?

First of the month pickup

Just picked up a couple new concentrates today and honestly I’m pretty happy with them so far. Nothing crazy to overanalyze or anything, just wanted to share because the pickup itself felt like a win lol.

Everything looks solid out of the jars, good consistency and nice smell coming through right away. Wasn’t expecting much more than a standard grab but it actually turned out way better than I thought it would. Haven’t gone super deep into them yet, but first impression is definitely positive. Smooth, clean, and doing exactly what I was hoping they would.

Maui | Bulkweedinbox | May 2026

Picked up some Maui AAA just to try it out and see if it actually has that tropical sativa thing people say. Bag was a mix of small to decent buds (i took pics of the larger ones). Nothing crazy looking but still solid for the price. A bit sticky but easy to break up. Smell was light sweet / tropical haze vibes, not super loud but kinda nice once you’re actually paying attention to it.

Smoke was smooth enough, and the high creeps in more than it hits you right away. Ended up being a pretty chill upbeat head high, like you just feel lighter and a bit more social/creative without getting too racy. Nothing insane or super exotic, but it does the job as a daytime sativa you can still function on.

Where do you guys even buy those tiny mini alligator clips from individually lol

I’m talking about the really small bare metal ones, not the big jumper cable looking ones. I only need like one or two for a little project and somehow every place either sells giant assorted packs.

I checked hardware stores and even some electronic shops but half the time the employees don’t even know what I’m talking about until I show them a picture 😭

Are there any craft stores that will stock these individually?

Nike quality with clothing

Anyone else feel like Nike quality has gone downhill lately or am I just getting old lol

I still think Nike makes some of the best looking athletic / casual clothing out there. The fits are usually clean, simple, easy to wear, and most other brands I check out either feel too overdesigned, too “gym influencer” looking, or just kinda tacky in comparison. Even when I try branching out I somehow end up back at Nike because the stuff just fits me better and looks better overall.

The quality lately has been disappointing considering how expensive everything’s getting now. I swear older Nike hoodies and tees used to feel thicker and hold up way longer. Now I’ll buy something and after a few washes it already feels thinner, loses shape, starts pilling, or the material just doesn’t feel premium at all for the price point. Curious if other people feel the same way or if I’m just being nostalgic lol

Do you guys prefer doing shrooms alone or with a group?

I’ve been thinking about this lately because every trip I’ve had felt completely different depending on who I was around. Sometimes doing them with friends ends up being hilarious and super memorable where everyone’s laughing at nothing and having those weird deep conversations at 2am lol but other times I almost feel too aware of everyone else’s energy and it kind of pulls me out of the experience.

Doing them alone feels way more introspective to me. Like music hits harder, thoughts feel deeper, and I actually notice things about myself I’d normally ignore. But at the same time I can see why some people would hate solo trips because if the vibe turns weird there’s nobody there to ground you a bit.

I’m kinda curious what most people actually prefer? Do you prefer shrooms solo or socially?

So I finally got around to trying SFV OG after seeing it mentioned as one of those lowkey classic OGs that still holds up. When I cracked it open the smell leaned more earthy and piney than anything flashy, with a bit of sweetness and that faint skunky edge in the background. Not super loud, but definitely had that “this is an OG” kind of presence.

The smoke itself was a bit rougher than I expected though, not terrible but you do feel it. Overall it feels like a solid middle-ground strain good for taking the edge off without immediately knocking you out, but still capable of winding things down later.

▲ 114 r/sleep

I’ve been trying to fix my sleep lately and I keep seeing people talk about all kinds of expensive setups, supplements, routines, trackers, mattresses, etc… but I’m curious what the low cost / random simple thing was that actually made a big difference for you.

Like I’m talking under $100, maybe even something $20 you already had lying around that you didn’t think would matter but ended up changing your sleep completely.

I feel like everyone’s got that one secret here that takes fried rice from basic to unreal. Mine is adding bacon or spam and letting it render out slowly.

Curious though, any secret ingredients I should be trying?
