I was debating with myself if I wanted to add Jones or not but like— Adding a character with memory loss was just too fun to not do it.

So yeah as you just heard Jones has extreme amnesia and doesn’t remember anything since he collapsed in an alley from an asthma attack. He eventually only manages to remember that he likes to be called “Jones” because that name seems familiar. But he doesn’t even know if it’s because it used to be his last name or first name it’s just… a nice name.

Also… somehow he feels like he went through hell? Like— not metaphorically or in an over exaggerated way— no. That he literally went to hell, and now god has given him another chance at life.

So YEAH— Like all my dang favourite characters this guy is related to religion as well. He’s actually very VERY catholic, because he believes now that god is the kindest and most glorious spirit that gave him a second chance at life. (Also definitely influenced that he was basically adopted, AT 40 YEARS OLD, by a bunch of Cardinals.) But he is also a HUGE NERD, and has literally a pin bag and adores watching movies and reading books all the time. What else is he really supposed to do when he has no clue what his hobbies used to be…? Guess he just have to figure it out…

Oh yeah and he might have a huge celebrity crush on my other OC Thomas Cash. (Because I can’t help connecting my OCs together all the time.)

I received this Email today and I have been contemplating for a really long time now how worth it it is to go to this event and sell my merch.

Things to keep in mind:

8.000 kr is about 825 USD or 725 EURO (give or take)

I'm from Sweden and this price is pretty damn steep even the most fancy Swedish cons dont have this high of a price BUT ITS VERY DIFFERENT IN NORWAY. Norway is a very rich country and prices are just higher in general there. So it is actually very profitable for a Swede to be selling in that country. (But question is; is it profitable enough to earn from how much a table costs.)

I have never been to Spillexpo so I have no clue how interested people are in walking past and buying from artist alley. When it comes to Närcon (One of the biggest Scandinavian cons) its basically part of the culture to walk past artist alley. While when i sold at an event called Glitched which was a LAN where Artist alley was just an extra thing you could visit which made sales very limited.

Lets not forget also that even if its not super far for me to go there. It still takes about 3-5 hours with car and that will of course include gas prices. As well that i definitely need to sleep at the event since i dont have friends who live in Norway.

So what are yalls thoughts?

I would really like to answer this gmail as soon as possible and answer if im interested or not. Because this could be both a big opportunity but also potentially not worth it.

These two are literally my absolute favourite OCs I have. I of course always appreciate art of any of my OCs but these two are a particular hyper fixation. So (unless I’m too busy at the end of art fight) If they are attacked you are like a thousand percent likely to be revenged by me.

Explanation of the characters and their relationship: (warning for lots of religion stuff—)

Thomas is my OC and François is my friends/wifes (she doesn’t use art fight tho so I’ve been allowed to basically own him on the site). Both men live in the 1920s and Thomas Cash is literally one of the most famous men in Hollywood, imagine a mix of Charlie Chaplin and Georges Méliès. He is super flirtatious (bisexual disaster) and over the top and super full of himself. But secretly has terrible self esteem because he was blackmailed to kill a woman and basically thinks him wanting fame and fortune made god punish him. So he has big beef with his belief in god. (Thinks he himself is devil incarnate)

While François a Cardinal that’s basically the yin to Thomas’ Yang. Having extreme love and devotion (even tho François helped his nephew buried bodies so he knows he won’t go to heaven) to god no matter what happens. And has extreme empathy for everyone, even sinners and basically thinks anyone can be forgiven except for himself.

These two are a complete disaster.

Because despite how much they hate each other and what they stand for. Thomas still immediately decides that a grumpy old man of God is the most entertaining person imaginable.

And despite knowing full well that François is both a Cardinal and another man, Thomas flirts relentlessly. Sometimes to get a reaction, sometimes to annoy him, and sometimes because he genuinely can’t help himself. François, meanwhile, finds the actor absolutely insufferable; vulgar, self-destructive, irreverent, and far too comfortable invading his personal space. He is also deeply, deeply troubled by how often Thomas manages to leave him flustered.

Beneath all the bickering, however, lies something much messier. The tug of war between them desperately wanting to distance themselves from one another but also the want and obsession with being with each other. François sees a man desperately trying to convince the world (and himself) that he’s beyond saving. Thomas keeps testing the limits of François’s patience, while François stubbornly refuses to give up on him no matter how hard he tries. Which all just snowballs into a mess of angst and hurt/comfort; one of them thinks he’s a monster, the other thinks he’s damned, and both would rather start another argument than admit they’re in love.

PS. Thomas is also canonically dead so ghost!AU is always a thing lmao.

Anyway

If any of these two are attacked (or especially if they get ship art) I will forever be in your debt and I will be so desperately running to revenge u back.

As I mentioned in my previous post; I prefer drawing old humanoid men. But also really like historical characters (especially early/mid 19th century), steampunk, vintage sci-fi, space-core and also generally colourful designs. (Not too complicated)

Note: Obviously, I cannot attack everyone and nothing is guaranteed. But I’ll check out everyone that answers and look at your characters.

I tend to prefer drawing older men, especially ones that would be considered "ugly". I really like features such as wrinkles, moles, big noses etc etc.

And even when characters are younger (aka. Around their 30s) I really like exaggerating their features and giving them looks that wouldn't be deemed "attractive".

Bonus points if: The character is pathetic. Or perhaps some sort of priest. Or maybe even shippable. But im not very picky tbh I just love an old/middle aged man.
