Bluff Ranking 5/5

We're sieging each other's throne cities, I guess this gave him a weird idea he has an upper hand.

The PTR changelog on Yrel is incomplete.

Same effect, just locked behind 20 globes.

Also same effect. Quest itself is easy, it's basically an artifical delay.

Level 13 mythic quest that is also gated by previous quests. Note the mythic effect.

They're obviously reading this sub because the idea of reducing her channeling times had been coming up in every Yrel rework thread.

Well I fucking congratulate you guys, they've taken your ideas to heart and implemented them in their own way. EDIT: actually not implemented, these are just tooltips for now.

The logic:

STEP 1: people use trait to skip channeling skills as an argument why channeling mechanic is fine → let's double the trait's cooldown to shut them up.

STEP 2: people still hate channeling skills as the damage feels low compared to autoattack → increase skill damage and effects to make it feel better.

STEP 3: channeling is risky → let's make it so enemies are punished for interrupting your channels

STEP 4: enemies can fail to interrupt your channels if you use Seraphim → double Seraphim's cooldown

STEP 5: present a solution to long channel times, locking it behind a friggin quest chain.

Personally - I can't see how this is not a completely unwarranted nerf across the board. On a positive side we have higher damage on E and longer stun on EDW combo and that's it. The price for this is a completely wrecked talent system and the general nerfs to her versatility.

~13% of all matches get uploaded to heroesprofile

My older estimates were about 5% make it to heroesprofile, based on batch-uploads of 200-250 replays.

This is the most massive batch-upload ever, counting 701 replays from Oct 2025 and up to now. I was suprised to find out that heroesprofile already had 13.5% replays uploaded from my batch.

Ofcourse 701 replays isn't super statistically significant, but it's still something.

Federal Reavers opening strategy

Federal Reavers are perhaps the weakest faction at turn 1. They require units gained through Rally of the Lieges ('levied' units) to activate their main mechanic. They have it even worse than Architects in this regard.

If you don't do anything, you will have your first Rally on turn 8, and the units will arrive at turn 10. At turn 11 the 2nd hero will arrive. At this point you become super strong, but turn 11 is kind of late to begin neutral clean up.

If you take Bannerlords and speed up the rally with gold at turn 1, you will get your first Rally at turn 3, with units arriving at turn 5. Then you can use up your Imperium to have a 2nd hero at turn 6. Which is much better.

I think Bannerlords is more or less mandatory for Federals.

Your least favorite tanks to have on your team in SL?

So recently there was a thread where people shared which two characters for each role they are always happy to see on their team in SL.

Predictably, most people want Johanna as tank on their team.

I on the other hand am curious about the opposite.

Which of the 2-3 mainstream tanks you want to see on your side the least?

And the second question is - does your dislike for them is so high that you'd rather trust a 2nd bruiser instead?

(Taunt Varian should be treated as proper mainstream tank)

How playable is melee without Red Death?

My personal experience with Red Death is I set my mind on putting points into it after encountering enemy mid-Cuanacht who had just been one-shotting me if I slip a parry.

Afterwards I pretty quickly realized that Red Death made me functionally immortal. In theory it means that I'll always survive at least three hits against anything, in practice there's no limit on chugging healing potions in this game, so as long as you stockpile enough and aint' getting one- or two-shot death simply becomes a choice. What's more, upgrading your health becomes suboptimal because most potions and foods don't scale to your health pool, so you can focus on going all-in damage and crits, and dealing more damage means taking less damage due to shorter combats.

I'm currently level 68 rogue-type character, 10 in Endurance, 60% armor, cleared Cuanacht, Sarras and cakewalking Act 3 right now. The only somewhat tough enemies I've faced after acquiring Red Death were Percival due to her combos, and the very first boss in Sarras due to ranged attack spam and knockdown spell (same moveset as Galahad).

Thoughts?
