Gu Zhen Ren, the author of Reverend Insanity. Our GOAT, our beloved author. Could this middle-aged man survive if he were transmigrated into the very universe of his own masterpiece?

People often say, "A character's intellect is the author's intellect." But writing is easy. Gu Zhen Ren is a philosopher, a keen observer of human nature. Yet could he truly turn theory into reality?

Would he be capable of manipulating and dominating others? Of overcoming his enemies? Of conquering himself? Of ruling over countless living beings and challenging Heaven itself?

Could this humble writer accomplish everything he made his characters accomplish?

Suppose he were transmigrated into the Gu World with A-grade aptitude (90%), born into a Southern Border clan, twenty years before Fang Yuan's transmigration, after the Spring Autumn Cicada had already been used.

And, to give our great hero a helping hand, we shall grant him Ning Zhuo's Golden Finger, the protagonist of his current novel: the Buddha Heart Demonic Seal.

Becoming a Buddha to himself and a demon to everyone else, influencing countless beings and commanding beasts... would he be able to ascend? Or would he ultimately fall?

Meanwhile, the real Gu Zhen Ren struggles with social anxiety and fell into depression after the end of Reverend Insanity. He worked for years while earning almost nothing. He started alone and never wrote Reverend Insanity with money in mind.

He wrote Infinite Bloodcore purely for the ecstasy of artistic creation, but eventually had to set it aside to write his current novel, Mysteries of the Immortal Puppet Master, simply to put food on the table. To feed his family. To spend his middle age with a full stomach and rosy cheeks. To support his children and repay the unwavering support of his wife.

So, would this simple man, driven by simple motivations, truly be capable of surviving in the world of his own masterpiece, relying on nothing but his own calculations?

He will have four lives to accomplish one goal: kill Fang Yuan. If he fails after his fourth and final attempt... he will burn for eternity.

After all, a Golden Finger means very little... if the one wielding it is a weakling.

And yes, I know the tone is a little over-the-top. That was entirely intentional. 🤣

Recently, I read all of Volume 5 and reflected on what the ending of XHM was. We know from the beginning that it was her, the woman Fang Yuan still loves to this day; just look at how he still uses a term of endearment to refer to her. So, what happened to her? Were they truly lovers, did they consummate a relationship? Or did they both feel something for each other, but because of her circumstances as a mermaid saint, she couldn't go with Fang Yuan, and he didn't think it was right to simply make her abandon that duty, so they separated but continued to love each other? Or do you think Xie Han Mo and Fang Yuan ran away, and in that escape, Xie Han Mo was killed?

This incredible novel, which is genuinely one of my favorites, is the current novel that Gu Zhen Ren, the author of Reverend Insanity, is writing! Currently with 928 chapters, there are already predictions that the novel will surpass 5,000 chapters, and there's a chance that, due to some phrases by GZR, POIMM will probably have 10,000 chapters!

In this novel, we follow Ning Zhuo, a young cultivator who proves to be profoundly perceptive. We see that he is different from Fang Yuan; Ning Zhuo loves people intensely and is loyal, obeying and trusting his elders. However, Ning Zhuo is also ruthless and cunning, killing people for his own benefit. Ning Zhuo cultivates the Mechanical Path, which is not purely about puppets, but about control. In fact, the novel isn't about puppets; its true title is "The Works of the Immortal." We see that Ning Zhuo will journey towards Myriad Dao.

In this novel, there's a lot of politics, a lot! A lot of world-building, so much so that even in chapter 920, Ning Zhuo is still a Golden Core and is not reaching the Golden Core stage anytime soon.

Ning Zhuo is a young man; he's not a Demon with 500 Years of Experience. Don't come here expecting to find a Demonic Cultivator. No, Ning Zhuo walks the Righteous Path. I won't lie, I don't see him as someone righteous and upright like Klein. No, Ning Zhuo is deeply cautious and curious. He is loyal and will do anything for the people he loves. Ning Zhuo said he wouldn't mind breaking morality to save those he loves.

In this novel, it's very important to know that the trope of Luck and Destiny exists, and it is something very present that will often cause discouragement in certain people.

Don't expect frequent fights; there won't be many. Only those familiar with GZR's writing style can predict the type of writing that will follow.

GZR said that this novel is just for money, so don't expect another RI. However, it is still a high-quality novel because it is written by GZR.

G3 would be a fool and a terrible author if he didn't develop an arc focused on Mordret; we need to see the changes and growth of Fulldret!

With Cassie, he exchanges privileged information, meaning he's exchanging information about things related to Death Zones, Nightmare Creatures, and various other things. It could be argued that it's a fragile and partisan communication, with Mordret choosing whether or not to communicate.

We could see something showing that Cassie and Mordret haven't spoken for weeks; after all, it would be strange if they spoke every day... although I would love a scene of Cassie lying in bed, tapping her feet, with a mirror in her hands, talking to Mordret.

Well, in that case, we need an arc of Cassie going after Mordret so they can go to the Fifth Nightmare.

With Morgan, Mordret is trying to improve their relationship, although it's unbelievable, after all, Mordret isn't to blame, Mordret suffered much more than her, child Mordret suffered more than Sunny and Nephis combined until they were 20 years old. Realistically speaking, Morgan is a modern Azula.

In itself, this relationship has a lot of potential.

It got confusing and tiring when the author started talking about Destiny, Luck, Reincarnation, and memories of the future. I believe it's because it's too difficult to write a novel focused on a family, considering there aren't always prominent main characters. I think sometimes he tried to be too light by choosing alternatives that realistically wouldn't happen, for the sake of the fandom that was already flirting with certain favored characters. Well, I enjoyed reading it, I really enjoyed it. Maybe it's just a phase and I'll go back to reading it, but seriously, I hate that people can't enjoy a novel in a normal way... they always say that ML is better than X or Y. Damn, ML has its strengths and weaknesses. I genuinely prefer RI to 99% of fiction; only Code Geass and Lord of the Rings occupy the same space as Reverend Insanity in my heart.

I don't know if I can consider this a review, since I'm writing this with my feelings influenced by it, and I haven't even gone into detail about my arguments, I haven't cited names or chapters, just feelings. Which novel should I read now?

For everyone who's up-to-date on POIMM, do you believe Ning Zhuo would be able to destroy Fate Gu? If he were an Otherworldly Demon in Reverend Insanity, around the same time Fang Yuan was reborn after activating SAC, would it be possible for Ning Zhuo to be HW's new weapon?

If that's the case, do you believe Ning Zhuo would be capable of killing Fang Yuan? Ascending to Immortal, destroying the Fate Gu, and becoming Venerable?
