In academics, there seems to be a cycle of getting treated badly by your advisor and then continuing that legacy by treating the RA you hired even more badly. I am sick of how condescending, mean, ill - behaved some of these supervisors are. Fuck you guys honestly. You guys deter us instead of encouraging us to learn and do good research in economics. You say you want to help us learn yet it seems like you only care whether YOUR project is progressing instead of ALSO helping us prepare for next steps.
