Theory: Earthworm Jim is in fact NOT an earthworm, but an Insectoid experiment done by Professor Monkey For A Head to test out the suit and it's capabilities to protect the wearer.

Jim in the Marvel Comics is already a mutant sentient worm pre-suit and is sentient enough to read the text in the suit's manual before wearing it.

Jim in the cartoon is given the title "royal escort" while Peter is delegated to a flower-girl role during Whatshername's coronation. Keep in mind, the Insectoids consider anything humans would consider cute or pretty to be ugly, and Peter is donned in a pink dress and makeup here while Jim is trusted to be close enough with the newly crowned Queen to share a romantic moment with her. Jim is also called a "hideous freak of nature" or other sentiments by humans on Earth, something that Insectoids may think otherwise. They only seem to hate Jim when Slug For A Butt is in power--when Whatshername is in charge, they don't seem to regard him as a threat. In fact, he and Whatshername might be better rulers for them, if they'd be given the change. They'd certainly fit the more "scary and threatening" vibe Slug For A Butt pretended to be.

While worms are not insects, there are many insects that have similar qualities such as maggots, caterpillars, and grubs. Many of which are seen in Jim media as inhabitants of Insectica.

Professor Monkey For A Head would need test subjects for the supersuit as it NEEDS to be able to shield Queen Slug For A Butt from harm. The queen is physically weak, relying on her magic scepter for her boss battle and the cartoon and is easily overthrown without it. A potential unused character meant for the cartoon and planned to be in the second line of toys for the series, Clutch, looks similar to Jim with a soft, slimy head and muscular torso. Maybe he was a previous failed experiment or test subject for the suit?

The Professor has many experiments in his lab in both the games and the Marvel Comics, some with human-esc sentience and speech. Some of the game's lab enemies include maggots, another worm-like creature.

This is unfortunately not my only Game Theory-esc theory on EWJ.

The New Junk Summer Home Archive!

It's a website in-progress meant to catalogue almost EVERYTHING me and other members of the fandom have found over the years about the series. Trailers, concept art, prototypes/betas, etc, all accessible in ONE place.

I've been teaching myself html code in order to properly realize my idea, so pardon the crudeness. I'll try to slowly chip at it to make it as good as it can be without breaking anything.

I've been slowly working on both a digital archive and website for everything Earthworm Jim because of my avid hyperfixation and dislike for the Rocketworm site. I've had lots of help from other users so this isn't entirely my work.

It'll be slowly updated to properly show off my findings in the drive. I'd like to have the biggest public archive of EWJ so other fans have an easier time researching and accessing this stuff because I simply just love this groovy little guy so much!!!

Found this while looking for more Jim stuff to archive. I have no idea how APKs and phone emulation works and some part of me doesn’t want to touch it with a ten foot pole.

Disclaimer: Sorry if any of this sounds stupid, I'm somewhat new to this and I'm more of a hobbyist archivist than a professional.

I'm trying to find a good digital storage for some of my stuff, working on a full archive of everything having to do with Earthworm Jim. I'm talking screenshots, games, magazine articles, clips and full episodes from multiple languages, etc. But...my pc is a shitty five year old HP basic laptop with the worst storage. I have mainly two 7 GB usb sticks but that can't fit all of what I'm trying to gather together for a potential webpage archive because a lot of the videos/tv show mp4s are MUCH bigger than that.

Is there possibly a bigger, less expensive (or free but that's prolly a unicorn type deal nowadays) archive or storage site like Google Drive out there? I've heard of other sites kinda like that but I heard bad rumors surrounding Mega like "Twitter Megalinks trading" and I'm a bit hesitant cuz I don't want to be involved with that sort of thing if you catch my drift.

I might figure out something like saving up for an external hard drive but I just wanna chuck this into the ether so I have a more defined list of options.
