Hi all,
Fairly new to Usenet and the Arr stack so my apologies if I am missing something obvious but I am coming with a very open mind to solve the problems I am having and am more than happy to be called an idiot.
I have a fairly simple setup
Radarr/Sonarr → Prowlarr → NZBGeek → SABnzbd → Newshosting
with - Custom profiles set up in both Sonarr and Radarr with a heavy preference towards remux quality level movies and 4k series downloads to take advantage of a 4k TV, surround sound system with shield and plex.
The challenge - far more failed downloads than I would like resulting in either a movie not being downloaded or series with several episodes missing. SAB shows 1kb/s download speeds and large missing article counts before it fails and moves on to the next. With those that fial outright in the end, I end up with sonarr/ radarr going all the way through it's search, going down my custom format scores until failing completely.
The solution is what I need help with. I've just about gotten my head around usenet providers vs indexers and have also done enough research to be fairly confident in saying that I need to increase my stack to include likely another usenet provider (ideally on a different backbone) and probably at least another indexer.
My question, do I need another unlimited usenet provider or am I better off going with a block approach? If so, what should I be looking at. And, assuming I need another indexer, again what should I be looking at to solve my issue.
I keep seeing references to Eweka as a usenet provider which is uses a different backbone but again, do I need an unlimited backbone or am I better off using simething like usenet. farm and paying for blocks?
Althub seems to be referenced as a good secondary indexer. I appreciate all help. thank you
Hey all. Just got a Find N6 and for the most part it's absolutely incredible. Wish there were more widget and resisting options but that's been minor.
What is really irritating me is the Oppo calendar app. Love the layout and functionality seems great but none of my Google account events are showing, at all.
They show in the accounts settings in the app but when you click on view events, every one is empty, whether it's my personal calendar or those shared with me by my partner.
Any ideas?
Google calendar is showing them properly, as is the web app but I can't stand Google calendar so really want to get this fixed.
Thanks for your help.
Bought a used All X about 6 months ago. Didn't even bother trying it with windows as I have a desktop that will be used for any serious gaming and titles, so installed Steam OS. It's a great experience other than one issue, the FPS and whole system lags on battery power. It also intermittently vibrates but unsure if this is related.
I mostly bought it for on the go but it is very frustrating that is is almost unplayable when plugged in. I've noticed that it doesn't even matter what game I am playing and how demanding it is or isn't. For example, playing Hades, which can run on a potato, gets locked 120 fps when on battery power and then lags and jitters like mad as soon as it's plugged in. It is almost like the FPS itself is not an issue, the entire OS then lags until I restart and even when the OS is smooth, it's very rare that I get the performance I should without lagging when plugged in.
I started using DeckyTDP before power profiles were supported for non SD devices. I have since removed DeckyTDP as I'm not bothered by the fine tuning and have read threads that it can possible introduce similar issues but the problem persists.
I appreciated it was a little stupid immediately installing a different OS on a used device as I now can't tell which problems are device based and which are OS based but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Apologies if Steam OS is not a valid topic here but I am assuming it is run fairly commonly.

Hi all. Fairly new to pourover but I've done a hardcore ADHD hyperfixation on learning it very quickly (sometimes to my detriment of being too impatient to develop a recipe incrementally). Had some lovely coffees so far with my favourite being DAK lollipop. Super fruity and defined flavours. However, I'm really struggling to get this washed Kenyan dialled in. I've managed to get 1 cup with a moderate amount of acidity and hints of berry flavours but honestly, it still wasn't great. My research tells me that I want to push extraction on it but altering the couple of recipes I stick to to boost extraction had just made it bitter and astringent. What I have access to is below.
1zipresso k-ultra - calibrated and tried anywhere between 5.5 to 8 grind size
V60 - have cafec t90 filters
Orea 01 - X bloom origami type filters
Sfellow stag ekg pro
The best cups I have had have been following Lance Hendricks most recent recipe that he thinks will satisfy most people. It's 2 blooms at a 15 to 1 ratio with a steady mostly central last pour in roughly 2.30. This wasn't great with the Kenyan
Or following an amulet Orea 01 recipe which 95 Celsius 1 to 15 recipe with 4 pours in about 2.30
Really keen to learn what I can do to improve with this coffee. Both because I'm stubborn and wSnt to get better but also because it's pretty expensive. Thanks all!
