Okay I might be making connections that aren’t really connections but with the new LOL OMG Hello Kitty line it made my brain do things. Last year Bratz did a Sanrio line that included Cloe, Jade, and Yasmine. People realized how…majority white this doll line was and really wanted Sasha to be included and so after a while Bratz revealed that Sasha would be added. People just chalked it up to Sanrio being the ones who called for it. But very recently the OMG line came out also collab with Hello kitty and this time the line has a wider array of skin tones compared to Bratz. So I’m questioning if with the Bratz situation if it was Sanrio or…if it was Bratz. Cause Bratz has its history with white washing characters and frankly just not leveling up doll and representation wise compared to MH or even Barbie. So I’m wondering if this whole time it was Bratz who decided to not add Sasha? But idk it could just be Sanrio learned their lesson but again idk just putting my thoughts out there.

I need Purrsephone and Meowlody!!! I’ve waited out but apparently Mattel’s never gonna release them again. So…who’s up for a little business? I’m fine if you’re selling them without clothes or accessories. I just need the dolls. I can style them myself.

I was wondering this with the current Spelldon doll being released it made me wonder if Spelldon and or Casta will eventually make it to G3 and if it’ll be through MH or MoonSpell. Will they have green skin or will they look like a normie? I kinda made this post to just get discussion started and hopefully show that there is interest in these characters appearing in the future. Cause I’ve heard rumors that the MH team sometimes lurking around on here and I REALLY wanna see these two characters in G3.

Okay for context. I had a Target gift card that my sister in law gave me and I bit them bullet and bought the Core Refresh 2 Cleo De Nile. Because I mean…she’s the best Cleo doll to come out that really feels like her character like there’s no gimmick or theme it’s just her. But before I got her I had the Buried Secrets 1 Cleo because once again she’s stunning. But it just didn’t feel like Cleo. So when I got Refresh 2 Cleo and went to box up the other one. I just couldn’t. So I did something a little mentally ill and straight up made up an OC. So uh…this is Jewel De Nile. She’s the youngest of the three and probably pulled a few strings to go to Monster High at 14. So uh yeah. Am I the only one that does this? Like makes up new characters without changing anything except the outfit and accessories while not changing the doll? I just wanted to post this to A. Just to honestly show her off cause I kinda like her. And B. To scream into the void to see if there are others who do this.

Hello all. I didn’t know where to post this because I posted it on another doll subreddit and people thought I was being negative. So please understand I’m not trying to “drag a smaller brand” or “drag a brand made by a person of color” I’m simply laying out the facts and hoping people agree with me. Also yeah I’m mainly from doll twt so if my typing is very “twitter like” cause that’s a thing I’m sorry.

So Wild Childz that doll brand that left for milk came back left again and finally seems to be back. But they came back with the milk but it seems that the milk is spoiled. Due to the fact that the brand has apparently seemed to be defending themselves for using Ai to create music for the doll line. To say some are disappointed is and understatement. But to me what’s even more disgusting are the people who are just overlooking it because “I just want the doll.” Oh…okay? 👀. What gets me is Winx and even Mattel have been caught using Ai and have been dragged across the coals. But when they do it theres a million excuses. But people don’t understand if they hadn’t used Ai it would’ve been a statement of “Wow this smaller brand can do it without Ai that’s amazing.” But instead they used Ai to “cut corners”. Plus the brand it about saving the planet well guess what Ai is doing the opposite. It’s frankly sad and down right disgusting. Because they could’ve hired a POC indie singer not only lifting up fellow POC voices but showing that they give a fuck about this brand. I’m not upset Wild Childz just disappointed.
