Hello. I last played this classic RPG in 2000. Currently, I have installed the Grayface Patch for MM6 and the MM6Control patch.

Do I need any other patch or QOL patches for MM6?

As for my current party composition, I have selected default party members, i.e., Paladin, Archer, Cleric and Sorcerer.

Sorry, I have forgotten the spells or necessary skills for all the party members.

I would appreciate if anyone would recommend any skills or spells for the starter party members.

After New Scorpigal, where to next? Castle Ironfist or Mist?

I'm not rushing to finish the game, as I have plenty of time.

Side note:

After assigning keyboard buttons for movement (WASD). I can't seem to fly up and fly down. I have the fly spell activated. Page up and page down, right? Doesn't seem to work.

I have the MM6 control.exe located in the MM6 file directory.

My bad. I got a faulty keyboard. Flying is fixed now.

Did anyone here grow up playing Ultima as a kid? I know I did. My favourite ones were U6, U7 and surprisingly Pagan. Sadly, I did not even try Ultima Ascension because back then my PC did not have a graphics card...lol

How I wish there were a mod or remake version for U6 and U7.

Diablo 2 and Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 had their remakes.

Okay, back to my modern-day game, PoE.

As per topic, I would like a suggestion for finding jobs (full-time and part-time). My last job was almost 5 years ago. Ever since then, I only did small odd jobs and part-time work. Now, I'm back in my hometown and taking care of my elderly mum.

I have done some online jobs previously, but only for a while. This include AI prompting (Pure Fooocus AI), game testing, etc.

The thing is I have sent my resume to various companies in my hometown but to no avail. Employers tend to hire juniors with low pay. Even when I reduced my expected salary by 75%, I still can't get an interview, let alone a job.

Some of my friends suggest being a Grab driver, but unfortunately my current car is almost 10 years old; I don't think customers would even sit inside this old P.O.S.

I even contemplated doing the unimaginable, but thinking of my elderly mum made me think twice before doing such an awful act.

I can't even depend on my other siblings, as they are both overseas and only come back during Christmas.

I would consider tutoring, but I don't have the skill nor ability to coach because I'm an introvert and I don't like dealing with people.

So, perhaps anyone can give me some recommendations. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi. I'm looking for EA Totem build. I did try Ancestral Commander for the Tota event. I enjoyed it even though my playtime is a bit limited. My character is still at level 94; gear is okayish. I've managed to beat Eater but not Exarch (came close a few times).

Armour is only 10k, spell damage suppression is only at 64%, physical damage reduction is 63%, and all resistances are capped at 75%. Yeah, still not good; sometimes died from bleeding or corrupted blood.

So, perhaps for a new league, what kind of ascendancy can I use for EA totem? Chieftain?

Any tips and recommendations are much appreciated.

Updates:

• finally beat Exarch and got first voidstone
• changed a lot of my gears, primarily the bow and body armour (Brass Dome, tankier now); armour at 23k
• spell damage suppression is still at 64%; physical damage reduction is 79%
• all resistances at 79% and chaos is capped at 75%
• using medium cluster jewel (sleepless sentries)
• next voidstone (incarnation of dread and elder and shaper), Maven and Sirus (depend on carry)
