I live in Texas… it’s probably going to freeze come November, winter seasons. The salty Mongolian milk tea intrigues me because it promotes warmth and energy in frigid environments.
The ingredients are probably entirely different than what the average store sells to the American palette… so what is the closest I could get to recreating that flavor profile? Goat milk, brick tea, ghee, and some kind of flour… maybe? It’d be an interesting experiment.
The most basic understanding that I have of the universe from a Roman Catholic perspective… is that God is above, transcends over all time, space, and creation, He’s everywhere. How does Eastern Orthodox/Eastern rite theology express this… would it be in the Essence/Energies explanation or..?
I’d like have a better grip, understanding on what that’s all about. I’m under the impression that God is high above, but never distant from everything.
Someone from Roots of Orthodoxy or the Voice of Reason… whether it’s that Alex guy that was involved in controversy a year or two ago or someone else, is saying that Orthodox Christians are the “Muslims of the Apostolic Churches”. What exactly is he talking about?? It seems extremely ironic to call them that because Eastern saints bled and died for the faith by resisting the Ottoman yoke, Islamic rule for centuries.
If it’s as simple as harmful, clickbait-y buzzwords to attract attention rather than any meaningful constructive criticism of Orthodoxy, I get it.
Who’s more of the meaner, bitter, spiteful old man: Cotton Hill (King of the Hill), or Colonel Stinkmeaner (The Boondocks)?
To me… the only difference between the two of them as horrible human beings is skin color. I’d even put good money to see which of them would win a fight… Cotton killed fiddy men, but Stinkmeaner also went to Hell and came back to Earth just because he got bored.
If Rome, Constantinople, and all the other Sees were to unite tomorrow… what would happen to all the other Greek Catholic Churches? Would they simply disappear or fade into the conversation, or would they be something else? The reason they exist now is because of many many centuries of Schism between West and East… but what happens to all these other smaller Eastern churches when the gap is eventually closed?
Hank Hill is the solid rock and leader of the friend group… Dale is the maniacal lunatic, Bill is a self loathing, detestable slob… but what exactly is Boomhauer? He’s extremely quiet, talks fast and very few understand him, and I can’t put my finger on what I think about him other than that there’s something mysteriously cool about Boomhauer.
In the most recent episode of Starter Squad… Whiskers is prematurely evolved into a Nidoqueen. But what I don’t get it is… Nidorinas can evolve right away by Moon Stone upon evolving from Nidoran (female). If they’re following the typical rules of the games: Whiskers should be emotionally, physically like any other Nidoqueen.
But the Caterpies put a rock suit on Whiskers and use strings to move her around… parts of her body look mutated too, incomplete. Was she *mentally* not ready to take on the evolution and somehow it ends up being rushed?
