My daughter is in her early 20s, recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree, and is interested in this position. She’s not sold on joining the NYPD, but likes the idea of PEP over the Urban Park Ranger thats more the traditional, educational “Ranger”.
Can anyone give some real insight on the job? Do you enjoy it? Do you deal with any hostile people/situations? Do you have a partner? Is the non-carry aspect as a peace officer a negative?
