I desperately need help as I'm on the verge of insanity.

I have a 2013 CT with the standard flip up screen. The screen is perfect for me so I intend on keeping most of it stock.

I bought an MMI box from Carputech with the upgraded camera.

The MMI box carplay/AA works perfect. I just can't, for the life of me figure out why the camera feed isn't working. It's the upgrade camera 1080 AHD. I connected everything as it should be (clearly not) but when I shift to reverse I get a black screen. I have contacted Carputech and they have given me some general tips of checking if wires are connected correctly but I still can't get the damn thing to work. I've tried almost all different orientations and I am losing my mind.

Any advice or please tell me someone has gone through the trouble of doing this? Most videos online is for 2014 and new camera installs so that doesn't help.

I know it's not necessarily the right group but not really sure where to get some answers.

Looking at purchasing an older Lexus Hybrid in Sydney (I'm from Brisbane) and wanted to know if anyone can recommend real people not just a corporate banner to do a pre purchase inspection and before I travel all the way interstate to have a look myself etc. I'm not expecting a full seven million point check, but just someone honest that can tell me if the car, the hybrid system and anything else looks good for its age.

Any advice or direction is appreciated. Thanks
