How did you find your first validated SaaS idea?

I’m looking to start my journey into building a SaaS product, but I’m struggling with the very first step: finding a problem worth solving. a lot of the general advice out there says "solve your own problem," but I want to learn more about how people systematically find unserved niches or real B2B/B2C pain points from scratch. for those who have launched a SaaS (successful or not):

  1. How did you actually come up with your idea? Was it through comment mining (Reddit/TikTok/X), talking to business owners, agency work, or something else?

  2. What process or framework do you use to evaluate if an idea is a "tarpit idea" versus a real business opportunity?

  3. What’s one mistake beginners usually make when brainstorming their first SaaS concept?

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed some sores/ulcers on the skin of my penis. They appeared recently, and I’m not sure what could be causing them.
I’m attaching a photo for reference. I’d appreciate any advice about what this could possibly be and whether I should see a dermatologist or a sexual health doctor.
Some details:
When they appeared: [three years ]
Pain: [yes]
Recent sexual contact: [no]

Magnifica Evo vs La Specialista Arte owners—how's the learning curve been?

I'm deciding between these two DeLonghi machines and I'm seeing mixed opinions online. Some people say the Magnifica Evo does everything for you (easy), others say the La Specialista Arte gives you more control but you have to actually learn.

Here's what I'm trying to understand:

If I get the Magnifica Evo (fully automatic):

  • Do you ever feel like you're just pressing a button and hoping it works?
  • Do you struggle with anything even though it's "automatic"?
  • Did you eventually want more control?

If I get the La Specialista Arte (semi-automatic):

  • How steep was the learning curve actually?
  • What frustrated you most when you were starting out?
  • Are there things you wish someone had explained better?

question: For either machine, what's the one thing you wish you knew BEFORE buying it? Like, what surprised you or frustrated you most?

I'm trying to figure out which one fits my style, but honestly I just want to know what actual owners struggle with day-to-day.

Thanks! ☕
