Hi everybody- quick question. My salary application system says that I am currently at MA1A, but payroll is reflecting the BAC1 salary in the portal. Is this because I am a new hire and haven’t started yet, and this will automatically adjust? Thank you!
Hi everyone, I was wondering if I had 5 college credits towards a special education certification and was issued it- is it only the 5 credits that count towards MA+30, or does getting the certification automatically put me in that category.

Hi everyone- I am a new hire starting my teaching career in the doe. I am applying for my salary differential and I am slightly confused. I have my Masters degree, and it was a 60 credit masters program. Does this qualify me for C2+ID+PD, or just C2+PD?

I am enrolling in courses for the summer semester (I know I am late as I just accepted a position) and the only courses open are through Wise Minds Mindfullness. Has anyone used them before or can tell me for sure if this website counts for A+ credits? Thank you!
Hi everybody- quick question about how salary steps and pay works. I am a new hire with a masters degree for this upcoming school year- and I know I need to apply for my masters differential as soon as possible. I also have some credits that will count towards the +30, and I am planning on fishing finishing out the rest of my credits this fall. If for example I finish my credits for +30 on October 1, will I be reimbursed from that date I submit the additional differential, or would I anyways get paid starting February 1. Lmk if additional info is needed. Thank you!!!!

Hi everybody! I am a newly hired DOE teacher and had some questions about my salary. I currently hold a Masters degree and 5 additional credits, with a year of subbing and a half year of a leave replacement under my belt. My question is what should my starting salary be, and what would be the best/cheapest way to increase this number to get to MA+30?
