How does people here feel about Nocturne?

After seeing the DMC2 Adaptation being called dog shit horrible because of Adi Shankar(I personally loved it but I haven't played any of the DMC games, same with Castlevania, loved the Adaptation but never played any of the games beforehand), what does the fanbases here think about Nocturne? Since it didn't have any of Adi's influence on it, at all

Extra question: How do y'all react to the whole, Maria having a crush on Alucard and them being implied to be a couple later on?
