Coming up on a summer 2 week trip split between São Miguel and Pico. Itinerary includes a guided hike up Mt. Pico, horseback riding, surfing lessons, snorkeling, visiting hot springs and natural pools, several other hikes, and a day in wineries. What items that, after your Azores trip, were you glad you had? Anything you wish you had that would have proved useful or that would have augmented the experience? Thanks in advance!

Visiting the Azores for 2 weeks in July, 4 days of the trip on Pico. We have a rental care reservation but it’s very expensive. Does anyone have information on how much taxis are to get around the island? Can you schedule rides? Muito obrigado!

I don’t have access to a water hose and the garden sprayer pump method is not my favorite. Any places around Madison with a bike wash anyone can use?
