I’ve been trying to find a movie for years now in which I can remember 3 possibly 4 scenes from which I watched from before I moved house 5 years ago so I would’ve been at most 10 but probably between to ages of 5-9. It wouldn’t have been over rated 15 (UK) because I watched it with my dad.
These are the scenes I can remember from it. Take this with an extreme pinch of salt as they are very hazy.

1. The main character is a guy, white, possibly mexican or italian american young adult. In this scene he is in a diner/restaurant kinda thing where he is talking to a woman similar to his age. She may be a waitress there or just a person. I am unaware if he knew her prior to this meeting.
2. This movie is set in the US, most likely in the west due to the geography I can (VERY HAZILY) remember from this movie. The diner scene may have been in Las Vegas, or atleast younger me may have thought it was Las Vegas but it could have been any place, not even a big city or town. In this scene the guy has travelled (maybe??) to meet said girl in a summer camp/school where she is working/volunteering. I can’t remember much about the scene only the summer camp may have been for special needs kids (or not) and it was situated in this canyon/valley area which had vibrant green vegetation. I am pretty sure this was also in America and that he doesn’t leave the country in the movie. I can vaguely remember him taking to atleast one of the kids in the camp, he MAY HAVE worn a blue t-shirt/polo but I am unsure.
3. Note the scenes after this may have been from a different movie but im pretty sure they were from this one.
4. The guy (main character) is in a Motel/Hotel, with (presumably) the same lady from the diner and summer camp/school in an area which I can sort of remember looking like the hills in rural California. What I am about to tell you now is a very hazy memory and may have not even been in the movie: Some happens with orange juice or like an orange juice looking alcoholic drink - Younger me may have thought it was orange juice. I think it was that they noticed that it wasn’t in the fridge, or it may have been on the table or something. Anyway, the Motel room they are staying in gets shot up or something, or a dangerous person is near, but the guy is put in immediate danger and has to leave. I am not sure if the lady comes with him.
5. Immediately after this scene, a car chase ensues down a road which is a mountain type of road which zig-zags down the side of the hill. I cannot remember if it was a police chase, or if the main character gets away or not.

I am not sure of the genre.

Anything would help towards me finding this movie.
It was likely made in between the 80s-00s.
