love letter & out of nowhere

they’re sooooo good

i was a little nervous when i heard the guitar in gracie’s snippet for out of nowhere but listening to the full thing i love it so much. and the way she moved the first verse to the outro makes it sound so ethereal. the harmonies on the “favorite thing to fantasize” part were sooo unexpected but made me jump out of my chair they were so cool

love letter is absolutely amazing too, the jazzy push and pull is so unusual for gracie and sounds so cool. the “but if there was a limb to sever i would cut it off right now and give it to you, my love letter” line gave me chills

what are your guys thoughts

ps if anyone doesn’t have it there’s another post in this community w a link

why am i so angry at my parents but fine with anyone else

usually with friends and other families, i’m a normal and (i think) fun/chill person to be around. however, at home, literally when my mom or dad say a single sentence i can feel the anger rising and i just become very dismissive and start to talk back, etc. is this normal? i’m 18 btw and this has been happening for years

what does my stats for the last 6 months show about me

i wanna see what people think about me based on this, gender, sexuality, what kind of personality i have, whatever. just doing this for fun lol

for context, ive never really shared my music taste with a lot of people because many have made fun of me for the artists i like and ive only recently started to share it, so i wanna see if their perception is the same one everyone has. im probably just overthinking though

also if there’s any other gracie or faouzia fans pls reply i have no fan friends of either🥺

physics 1 and 2 at uf vs elsewhere

I'm an incoming BME freshman. I took AP Physics 1 in high school, and I've heard Physics 1 and 2 are both hell at UF. With a little experience in Physics 1, I think I should be good taking physics 1 at UF. But for physics 2, I've heard people take it at other colleges? Is that allowed and how would that work? Could I take it at my local community college (Seminole State College) or like UCF (i live in orlando) or something. and if i did that, would uf accept the credit?

honors village building 3

so im in honors village building 3, and i got room 0528. i know that the rooms directly next to the elevator are usually smaller, but does anyone know which room on the 5th floor is right next to the elevator (on the guys side). My friends and i have 0524, 0526, and 0528, so we want to know if any of us have that smaller room next to the elevator

honors village layout

i just got my room selection time and i had a couple questions about honors village layout/buildings.

  1. which building is the best one?
  2. do room numbers indicate location? like i’ve heard that even numbers face the quad or smth
  3. is it true that the rooms in the corner are larger? and if so is there a way to select those specifically or is it just luck?
  4. anything else i should know before selecting a room?

sta3032 engineering stats?

so i’m an incoming honors freshman doing bme. on the model semester plan for bme on the uf website, it has engineering stats in semester six, but from what the description says, it seems like it’s just basic stats concepts with engineering applications. if i have the calc 1 credit from ap calc ab (which is a prerec), is engineering stats something i could take in my freshman fall/spring? im confused why it’s in semester six essentially
