The band I've Made A Bomb is a hardcore punk collective from Ufa that emerged on the budding local scene in 2006. Over the years of its existence from 2006 to 2015, the band went through countless concerts, lineup changes, and breakups. The original lineup changed almost completely. At various times, the band included: Tima (drums), Chiba (guitar), Marat (guitar), Bashka (bass), Rust (vocals), Potap (drums), Khrust (vocals), and Isk (guitar). As of autumn 2014, the lineup was: Chiba (guitar), Bashka (bass), Tima (drums), and Rust (vocals).

The band's first studio recording saw the light only in summer 2014. The debut self‑titled EP was released on June 10, 2014. The release contained the tracks: "Прощай" (Goodbye), "Я не виновен" (I'm Not Guilty), "Протестуй" (Protest), "I've Made A Bomb", "Моя революция" (My Revolution), "Стоя над пропастью" (Standing Over the Abyss), "14 слов" (14 Words), and "Борьба ни за что" (Struggle for Nothing). The track "14 слов" featured Kuzya and the Ufa‑Moscow crew from the punk football club "Salavat Yulaev", with music and lyrics written by Marat. In 2017, the Ufa label "Tantsy Do Neba Records" released a cassette with the discographies of Brom%Brigade and I've Made A Bomb. In 2020, this release was re‑issued by the label "Izdatelstvo Siyanie".

The band took part in large‑scale festivals and concerts, sharing the stage with acts such as Blodtørst, Zann, Gendarme, and Chelyustno‑Litsevoy Kontrol. At the end of 2010, the band performed at the "Get Money Booking 1 year!" party, and in November 2014 – in Saratov. I've Made A Bomb also played benefit concerts, for example, to help animals at the "Linda" shelter. The band's last concert took place in Samara at a punk festival. The band broke up in 2015, but the exact reason for the breakup is not specified in available sources.

The band Noizy Boys is a street-punk collective from the Belarusian town of Shchuchyn. The official birthday of the band is considered to be October 25, 2008 — the day of the first rehearsal at the local rehearsal base "Kamora." From the very beginning, the musicians adhered to anti-racist and anti-fascist views, and their music is a mix of street punk and Oi! with simple riffs, loud sound, and socially conscious lyrics.

The first lineup of the band consisted of Kasper (guitar, vocals), Bot (bass), and Makar (drums). After intensive rehearsals, the band began playing concerts at "Kamora" together with the punk band "Razval Skhozhdenie." In autumn 2009, Noizy Boys recorded their first demo with the same name. However, soon after that, Bot was drafted into the army, and the band virtually ceased to exist for three months. In February 2010, Kasper assembled a new lineup: he remained on vocals and guitar, joined by Yurgen (bass) and Lyonik (drums). In summer 2010, this trio recorded an album, but tension was growing within the group. During work on new material, Lyonik deleted all recorded material from the computer one day, for which he was fired. He was replaced by an old friend of the band, Egor.

In early autumn 2012, the renewed lineup began recording the six‑song EP "Nikakikh Kompromissov!" (No Compromises!) on the label ULTRA PULTRA Records. Soon after the release of the EP, drummer Egor left the band and was replaced by Donya. With the renewed lineup, the band played concerts in Vilnius (Lithuania), Minsk, and Baranovichi. The first music video was also shot for the song "Opravdannaya nenavist", and the EP itself was released on CD by the Belarusian labels No Justice and Street Beat Records.

In 2013, the band celebrated its fifth anniversary. In early 2014, a split vinyl with the Polish punk band Anemia 77 was released. This was a collectible picture vinyl with a print run of 500 copies. The release was a joint effort by the labels Food Waste Records (England), No Pasaran Records and 83 Records (Poland), Street Beat Records and No Justice Records (Belarus). Noizy Boys presented three completely new songs on this split, one of which was in the Belarusian language. At the same time, the band had planned a video shoot and a joint mini‑tour with Anemia 77 through the cities of Belarus and Poland.

As for the lineup, drummers were indeed the weak point of the band. After Donya left in 2013 due to his involvement in other projects, the very first drummer Makar briefly returned to the band. Later, Egor took over the drums. At various times, Yurgen (bass) and Lyonik also played in the band.

The band's concert activity was quite active. Noizy Boys performed not only in their native Shchuchyn but also throughout Belarus, as well as in Bialystok, Warsaw (Poland), Vilnius (Lithuania), and Moscow (Russia). In one interview from 2013, the musicians noted that they had a solid core of friends who supported the band and traveled with them to concerts. According to them, a friendly family of skins, thrashcore fans, and punks had formed in Shchuchyn. Among the highlights, they mentioned the performance in Vilnius and some funny incidents at concerts, including attempts at attacks by boneheads.

Zasrali Solntse ("They've Shit on the Sun") is a hardcore band from Krasnodar, playing in the style of NYHC. The band was formed in 2001 by student Sergei Vartanyan and his teacher (whose name has not been preserved in available sources). The band's name expresses social protest: according to guitarist Maxim, "the Sun represents society, the whole world. And what has been done to it leaves us indifferent." The musicians clearly adhered to independent punk culture, left‑wing and anti‑fascist views. By fascism they meant "any nationalism and chauvinism — from everyday to state‑level." In interviews, members noted that the emergence of boneheads in Krasnodar in the late 1990s discredited the entire skinhead movement, and they considered it important to resist this.

The first concert took place in September 2001 at the "Rok‑Udar" festival in the VOS House of Culture. During a break between songs, vocalist Sergei Vartanyan openly addressed the audience: "Brothers and sisters! We are against Nazism!" This enraged the boneheads: they spat at the stage, shook their fists, and beat those who continued to dance. After the performance, the musicians handed out flyers in the hall with the inscription: "If you consider yourself a true skinhead, there should be no place for Nazi shit in your head!" On leaving the House of Culture, the band was attacked from around a corner. The musicians had to escape on a tram, but the boneheads followed them and continued the beating in the corner of the carriage.

The band's next concert took place on 27 December 2001 at a cinema club – it was a closed party for anti‑fascists. According to eyewitness accounts, the crowd ignited instantly: "Girls danced no worse than the boys. The highest jumpers were, of course, the musicians themselves – Max with his guitar and Sergei with the microphone in his hand."

In May 2002 the band recorded a debut EP of four songs. In spring 2002, the first mini‑album "Сопротивление" (Resistance) was released – 4 tracks of fast hardcore punk. Around this time, the band performed in Moscow (the iconic Jerry Rubin club), Rostov‑on‑Don, and Voronezh. In 2003, five more tracks were recorded, and the EP "…Зависит от тебя" (…Depends on You) came out. From that point on, the band's sound was finally defined as New York hardcore. During the same period, "Сопротивление" was released on the Ukrainian label "MUL". Later, "Сопротивление" and "…Зависит от тебя" were released together on one cassette by the Minsk label Meet Next Life.

In October 2004, drummer Ilya left the band. His place was taken by Alexey (Lyosha), who had previously been one of the vocalists and had also played drums in the past. The final lineup was: Sergei (Sergei Vartanyan) – vocals, Maxim (Maxim Kulikov) – guitar, vocals, Dima (Dmitry Peshkov) – bass, vocals, Alexey (Alexey Krzevetsky) – drums, vocals. According to the some website, A. Popkov (songwriter) also participated in the recordings.

In 2007, the full‑length album "Закон вне закона" (Law Outside the Law) was released. In spring 2008, the band disbanded. Apart from Krasnodar, Moscow, Rostov‑on‑Don, and Voronezh, the band played joint concerts with the bands "Promzona", "Proverochnaya Lineyka", and Excess, as well as at hardcore sessions and DIY festivals. The band gave interviews for DIY fanzines, including the Tashkent zine "Toplivo Dlya Rakety" and the some website.

The band Facecontrol was an oi!/hardcore collective from Saratov, active from 2006 to 2011. The group formed in early 2006. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Oleg "Puzyr", bassist Svetly, and guitarist Egor. There was no drummer at the start, so a drum machine was used for rehearsals and recordings. With its help they recorded a demo album consisting of 8 songs. The first concerts took place in Volzhsky and Togliatti with invited session drummers.

Later, a permanent drummer, Pasha, joined the band; he had previously played in the groups HotDog and Estetical Fun. With his arrival, the setlist expanded from 8 to 20 songs – both new original material and covers of Agnostic Front, Minor Threat, 4‑Skins, and Proverochnaya Lineyka. In 2007, guitarist Egor left the band, and soon after, bassist Svetly lost interest in the project. However, the band did not break up. Instead, they reoriented toward Ufa, where they often performed and where a new lineup was assembled: guitarist Gosha, bassist Artyom Bashka, and drummer Timur (who replaced Pasha at Ufa shows). In this formation, Facecontrol rehearsed and played concerts in Ufa, Saratov, and other cities of the Volga region.

In 2010, with the support of Sanya Rabochiy, the band released their only full‑length album, "Горды единством" (Proud of Unity), on CD. The recording took place in Saratov and Ufa, while the choir parts were recorded late at night by a large company. The cover art was designed by drummer Pasha, who is now a professional tattoo artist. To promote the album, the band went on a mini‑tour.

Facecontrol's music is angry and straightforward oi!/hardcore with socially conscious lyrics – against fascism, politicians, injustice, and for the unity of working‑class youth. The band was a notable presence on the Volga underground scene, participated in festivals, and shared the stage with acts such as Brigadir, Proverochnaya Lineyka, and others. Besides the core lineup, guitarists Marat and Zhenya Bambr, as well as drummer Ilya Fil, also took part in recordings and performances. In 2011, the band ceased to exist.

The band Apache was founded in 2011. Some of the members come from Petrozavodsk, while others are from Saint Petersburg. The collective is a notable figure on the local scene and was mentioned as one of the key bands in reviews of 2011, and by 2019 it was already called a legend of Petrozavodsk old-school hardcore. The musicians themselves define their style as youth crew hardcore and describe their sound as "clear arrangements, crosses and hate." From the very beginning, the band adhered to straight edge ideology and anti-fascist views. This position was clearly reflected in their work, for example, in the song "Karelia," which is an ironic response to Russian nationalists. It contains a direct message: "We can do without Nazi shit / This is not Russia, this is Karelia / Karelia for Karelians."

In the same year 2011, a demo recording was released, which was later issued on cassettes by the label Paranoid Records. However, soon after that, the collective disbanded for two years. Having resumed activity, the band released its key release on December 12, 2015, on the label "Izdatelstvo Siyanie" – the mini-album "Живее всех живых" (More Alive Than All the Living). The record contained the tracks "Я не боюсь" (I'm Not Afraid), "Новая жизнь" (New Life), "Карелия" (Karelia), "Чёткий удар, короткий разговор" (A Precise Blow, a Short Talk, also known as "Сила и злость" – Strength and Anger), "Два слова" (Two Words), and "Цена" (The Price). On December 17, 2017, the band released a split, which included the tracks "Провинциальная сцена" (Provincial Stage), "Несломленные" (Unbroken), and a joint work with Monkey Wrench – "Есть к чему стремиться (Part of You)" (There Is Something to Strive For (Part of You)).

The geography of Apache's performances covered both Russian cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Murmansk, as well as abroad – Poland and Finland. The band took part in festivals such as "Kray Sveta," Harvest Fest, and Hopes & Dreams Fest. The lineup of the band is not detailed in available sources, but it is mentioned that the songwriter is Artyom Belyak.

The band Точка Кипения (Tochka Kipeniya / Boiling Point) is a collective from Kirov, playing old school straight edge hardcore. The name reflects the state when the members "reached the boiling point" from what was happening around them and decided to speak out about what angered and inspired them. The band was founded in 2004. From the very beginning and for many years, the frontman was Andrey Gusev (Gus), who was also the author of lyrics and music. In the early years, the lineup changed several times, but Gus always remained the key figure and the face of the band.

At the end of 2009, a new lineup was assembled, but a bassist could not be found, so guitarist Neka temporarily recorded the bass parts. During this period, the song "Вступай в наши ряды!" (Join Our Ranks!) was composed and recorded for the CD supplement to the first issue of the fanzine "Goryachee Vremya" (Hot Time). Then came a break of about a year. In spring 2010, the band resumed activity with a renewed lineup: Spik on vocals, Shchuk on guitar, Chinari on drums, and Nikita on bass. The guitarist and drummer had managed to create another band in Kirovo‑Chepetsk during the hiatus - Сухой Закон (Sukhoy Zakon / Dry Law). Mikhail Kazansky ceased to be a member, having played only one concert in April 2010, but remained a good friend of the collective.

In summer 2010, the band released their debut mini‑album, and later the only full‑length album, self‑titled "Tochka Kipeniya." On December 12, 2010, the live album "ХАОС" (CHAOS) was recorded at the Vegan Club in Saint Petersburg; it was released in 2011 on CD‑R by the some Kirov label. The band also performed in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Volzhsky, Volgograd Oblast.

Despite the change of vocalist in 2010, Gus always remained inextricably linked with the band and continued to be its frontman and ideological inspirer. After 2010, the band's active concert activity gradually faded, but no definitive breakup occurred.

In 2017, the label Skins For Skins released the compilation "Мятежные Души" (Rebellious Souls) on audio cassette, which gathered all studio recordings, the live album, and bonus tracks. This release became the last in the band's discography. In 2024, the compilation was re‑released in digital format by the label "Siyanie Digital."

In subsequent years, the band did not give regular concerts, but its leader Gus periodically organizes performances, gathering session musicians and friends for this purpose. The most recent concert with his participation took place in 2023, which confirms the continued interest in the legacy of Tochka Kipeniya and its presence on the stage almost two decades after its founding.

The band Crowd Control was formed in autumn 2004 in Saint Petersburg and ceased to exist in 2014. Initially, the band's style was defined by some connoisseurs as "hardcore with elements of mazafaka and crust," but gradually the group evolved towards grindcore. From the very beginning, Crowd Control adhered to a clear anarcho-anti-fascist position, which was reflected both in the lyrics and in the everyday lives of the members. The band's concerts were mostly closed, so it was nearly impossible for strangers to attend them. In August 2010, the band signed a letter of anarcho-anti-fascist bands. The lineup: vocals – Boroda, Izya (later replaced by Baron), guitar – Susel, bass – Zhuk, drums – Bob. The members also participated in other groups such as Bukaneros, Brigadir, Elektricheskie Partizany, Profane Existence, M-XVI, Prosuck.

During its existence, the band released several recordings. In 2004, a demo was released. In 2008, a split with the Belgian grindcore band Agathocles titled "Рука помощи" (A Helping Hand) was released on the label Street Influence, issued in support of the Anarchist Black Cross Russia organisation. Crowd Control's tracks on this split: Antifascist Action, Ад на Земле (Hell on Earth), Второй Чернобыль (Second Chernobyl), Свободу Роману Камынину (Freedom to Roman Kamynin), Язык ненависти (Language of Hate), Рука помощи (A Helping Hand), Право на жизнь (Right to Life), Punk Is A Fight. In 2011, a split with the band W.Grinders from Yekaterinburg was released on CD, co-released by the labels Black Cardinal (BC006), Resist Label & Distro (RL-013), and Street Influence. Crowd Control's tracks: Деньги не пахнут (Money Doesn't Smell), Мир на пороге очередной бойни (The World Is on the Verge of Another Massacre), Паразиты (Parasites), Революция не начнëтся после концерта (The Revolution Will Not Start After the Concert), Уплотнение (Compaction), Цепи (Chains). Also in 2012, the band recorded an EP titled "Религия" (Religion), but nothing is known about its official release.

In 2014, the band Crowd Control ceased to exist. The reasons for the breakup were not officially announced, however, given the political situation in Russia at that time and the tightening of legislation regarding anti-fascist activities, it can be assumed that continuing activity became difficult. Despite a relatively small number of releases and a closed format of performances, Crowd Control left a noticeable mark on the Russian underground hardcore-grind scene as one of the most consistent and uncompromising anti-fascist collectives. The band members focused on other projects, many of which also professed similar ideas, which allowed continuity in the movement to be maintained. Recordings of Crowd Control continue to circulate among interested audiences, and mentions of the band regularly appear in retrospective reviews of the Russian punk and hardcore scene of the 2000s and early 2010s.

Voennoe Polozhenie

The punk band Военное Положение (Martial Law) was a collective from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, active from 2004 to 2014. Genre: oi!/street-punk, R.A.S.H. Members adhered to anarcho-communist and libertarian views, participated in anti-fascist and anti-capitalist actions, and belonged to the Avtonomnoe Deystvie (Autonomous Action) movement.

The band was founded in 2004 by school friends under the name Nekromant, playing noise punk with influences from Korol i Shut. In 2005, the name was changed to Voennoe Polozhenie, and the style shifted to classic oi! with influences from Grazhdanskaya Oborona. The first songs written during this period were "Марш дебилов" (March of the Morons), "Гопозавод" (Gopnik Factory), and "Депутатские шлюхи" (Deputy Whores). The first performance took place on March 22, 2006, at the half-ruined Lenin Palace of Culture on the rehearsal base "Treugolnik" (Triangle), with the bands Grean Sky and Silinoz also performing. Vocalist Kran did not appear for the concert, so guitarists and the bassist performed vocal parts. A recording of this concert was released on a double disc with a black-and-white booklet in an edition of 5 copies, which were distributed. The next rehearsal space was a garage, where a new program was rehearsed and a music video for the song "Третий Рейх" (Third Reich) was filmed. The second concert took place at the Palace of Youth at the festival "Na to nam yunost i dana" (For That Youth Was Given to Us). In 2007, drummer Mikhail joined the lineup. At the third concert, right-wing football fans attempted to disrupt the performance, but a crowd of anti-fascists prevented a conflict. After this, the band performed only at closed DIY venues.

In 2008, a demo of 9 tracks (Красное Демо / Red Demo) was recorded at the rehearsal base in Koposovo, with a print run of 40 copies, distributed at concerts. By the end of the year, some members had joined RASH movement. In winter, the first trip took place to the festival "Chernyy Petrograd" (Black Petrograd) in Saint Petersburg, where the band met the groups Brigadir, Politzek, and Working Boys. In early 2009, a concert took place in Moscow, which the members considered the worst in the band's history, after which most of the lineup left the group. By the end of 2009, the renewed lineup recorded the album "Hools in the Boots". The first CD pressing was 200 copies, later re-released by the label Street Influence in a run of 500 copies. The album presentation and an interview took place on December 18, 2009, on internet radio. In 2009, individual members participated in the first all-Russian no-holds-barred fighting tournament among anti-fascists called "Ne sdavaysya" (Don't Give Up).

In April 2010, the band conducted a micro-tour along the route Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) – Togliatti – Kazan. In June, a performance took place on a motor ship on the Moscow River as part of the "Alye parusa" (Scarlet Sails) event, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Sex Pistols' concert on the Thames. In July, a mini-tour was held: Voronezh – Belgorod – Kharkiv – Ryazan, including a pilgrimage to the grave of Yuri Khoy in Voronezh. In the summer of 2010, the mini-album "Улицы ждут твоей крови" (The Streets Are Waiting for Your Blood) was recorded and released on the label Street Influence.

In 2011, the band performed as a support act for the German band Funeral Dress at the Moscow punk festival "Udar po tsenam" (Strike at Prices) in front of an audience of approximately 500 people. At the end of the year, they supported Stage Bottels, followed by the Spaniards Non Servium and the Germans Le Fly. During the year, concerts were held in Vladimir, Obninsk, and Yekaterinburg. In the summer, a tour took place in a car along the route to Brest and back, covering 10 cities.

In 2012, a split with the band Brigadir was released on the labels Street Influence, Chunga Changa Records, Black Cardinal, and RASH Gorky Crew. The summer tour was complicated by a breakdown of the rented minibus on the Moscow Ring Road; nevertheless, the band reached Saint Petersburg for the "Yebi Sistemu Fest" (Fuck the System Fest), then hitchhiked to Minsk. As part of the project "Minskoe Polozhenie" (Minsk Martial Law), the guitarist performed with a local drummer. The remaining members, having returned to the festival, made their way to subsequent concerts. In total, 4 out of the 7 planned cities on the tour were visited.

In 2013, the split with Brigadir was considered the most successful release. In the summer, an electro-acoustic program with a djembe and bayan was recorded for a performance as a support act for Jenny Woo. A summer tour was conducted with a concert in Simferopol and a week-long rest in Crimea. In winter, a concert took place in Kirov. In 2014, due to the political situation, the members considered further existence of the band pointless and the songs irrelevant. A decision was made to disband after fulfilling previously accepted concert obligations. The last performance took place on May 3, 2014, in Moscow as a support act for the Spanish band Opcio K-95. After the disbandment, most members moved to the band Pospish' Potom, the vocalist formed Vskrytie Pokazhet, and the guitarist pursued artistic activities.

The punk band Во Весь Голос, which translates as "At the Top of the Voice," was formed in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, in February 2006. The drummer and bassist learned to play their instruments directly during rehearsals, and the band's name was chosen because they were tired of being silent. Their style was anarcho‑punk and crust punk, and they adhered to a DIY ethic and anarchist views. The lineup during various periods included Pasha Rul', Brezhnev, Belomor, Vanya, Ilyukha, Gosha, and Masha Mysh', with side projects such as Pospish' Potom, Step To Freedom, Brigadir, Muzhik, Voennoe Polozhenie, and Terminal Addiction. Their first live performance took place on April 30, 2006, in Gorokhovets, Vladimir Oblast, and in August 2006 they gave an interview for the fanzine "Arteriya."

The band released three official recordings. Their debut studio album, "Love Not Cops," came out in 2007; it was recorded during the summer of that year, with 80% of the work done at home, and was self‑released. In 2008 they participated in a three‑way split release with the bands Yu.U.S.T. from Magnitogorsk and MoyFlagSmyat from Barnaul, issued on VVG Records and Acid Grape Records; their five tracks on that split were "Нас Считают За Лохов" (They Take Us for Suckers), "Наука" (Science), "Одноразовый Шприц" (Disposable Syringe), "Сочи 2014" (Sochi 2014), and "Юрист" (Lawyer). Their third release was a mini‑album or collection of new songs titled "Зима будет долгой" (Winter Will Be Long), which appeared on July 15, 2010, on the label Izdatel'stvo Siyanie and contained seven new tracks, one of which was "Раскачивать лодку" (Rock the Boat).

Geographically, the band performed in multiple Russian cities, including Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kronshtadt, Kirov (three times), and Vladimir (twice), as well as in Uzhhorod and Ivano‑Frankivsk in Ukraine, and in Minsk, Belarus. In the summer of 2010 the group disbanded and made all their recordings publicly available as MP3 files. They reunited in February 2011 but ultimately ceased activity in 2012, although they had planned new material during that year.
