Searching for a Redraft league - prefer ESPN, just used to it and already using for other leagues.
Looking for something competitive with a decent buy-in, flexible on the amount.
I'm curious about the 30K models and how they translate to 40K. From what I can tell there are two different guard kits. Are these kits fielded in 40K as Guard or are they used for Wardens also? Is there not a kit that correlates to wardens for 40k?
I'm considering Custodes for my next army and I really like the look of the 30K models compared to 40K (slightly taller, less chunky) and might try to make a force using exclusively 30K models. Would it be possible to do so?
It's seeming more plausible with new plastic kits coming out, and how we've seen there will be new terminators as well. I'm just not sure HOW plausible and how well the kits translate over.
I'm considering a seconds army and Custodes has always been a top choice of mine to expand my collection. I started in 10th with Blood Angels and always felt I could have easily started with Custodes.
If you were to start the army right now, what would you buy? I know there is some new HH stuff that can be used in 40K, plus the newer stuff releasing soon. So I'm very curious to see what current Custodes players think of what's best to get started with. I like having a coherent army so I don't know if mix-matching the 40k and HH model would vibe with me or not or how they look on the table together. For example my Blood Angels is all primaris because I did like the idea of having mismatched marines.
I'm sure it's been asked before. But I've been a bit tempted by necrons. They have such a cool aesthetic and seems like there are a lot of viable ways to play.

For a bit of insight. I started 10th with nids and I could never vibe with them. Ended up playing Blood Angels for most of 10th edition. Necrons also seemed pretty cool and have a fair amount of playstyles. And seem fairly easy to paint up. Should I try them? Pros? Cons?
Wondering about thoughts on how to run assault terminators given its 5pts per hammer? I have the terminator battleforce but wasn't sure how to build them. Claws are a lot cheaper and pretty decent with our bonuses. But I also love the idea of a 40 wound brick.
