Best Adjustable Desk Brand — What’s the “Herman Miller of Desks”?

I’m putting together a high-end professional workstation for design and writing, and I’m looking for a height-adjustable desk that I can buy once and keep for many years.

I’m not particularly concerned about price. I’m more interested in quality, reliability, stability, ergonomics, build quality, and long-term durability.

For reference, I’m approaching this like:

  • Chair: Herman Miller Aeron
  • Monitor arm: Ergotron
  • Monitor: BenQ

So I’m looking for the equivalent “standard” or benchmark brand for adjustable desks.

I’ve seen brands like Uplift, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, Fully, etc., but it’s difficult to tell which brands are genuinely considered top-tier versus just heavily marketed online.

If money were not a major concern, what adjustable desk brand/model would you personally choose?

Also interested in recommendations for the best frame/mechanism, regardless of the desktop surface.

Thanks!

Buried Family Treasure: Who Would Rightfully Own It?

Before my grandfather passed away, it was said that he buried a treasure somewhere on his land. Unfortunately, he died without ever telling anyone where it was. All of his children have heard the story, but there is no concrete proof that the treasure actually exists.

If it were eventually found, who do you think it rightfully belongs to? How should it be divided, especially considering that some of my grandfather's children have since passed away and left children of their own?

There's another complication: some family members don't even want the treasure to be found. Out of selfishness, they'd rather it remain buried forever than have it shared with everyone else.

If the treasure were ever distributed, the news would almost certainly spread throughout the family, and sooner or later the authorities would likely become aware of it, creating serious legal complications.

From a legal, moral, and karmic perspective, what do you think is the right course of action? If you were in this situation, how would you handle it?

Is castor oil damaged if it got very hot during shipping?

I received a bottle of castor oil today, but it's extremely hot outside. When I opened the package, the bottle itself was quite hot, probably because it had been sitting in the delivery vehicle for several hours.

I'm wondering if this kind of heat exposure can damage the quality or effectiveness of the oil. Is a few hours in a hot delivery truck enough to affect cold-pressed castor oil, or is it generally stable under these conditions?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone with knowledge or experience. Thanks!

If My Grandfather Secretly Buried a Treasure Before He Died, Who Would It Rightfully Belong To? (Karma, Law & Ethics)

I have a question and I'd really like to hear your thoughts.

Before my grandfather passed away, it's said that he buried a treasure somewhere on his land. However, he died without ever telling anyone where it was. All of his sons and daughters have heard the story, but there's no concrete proof that the treasure actually exists.

Now, let's say someone eventually finds it. Who would it rightfully belong to? How should it be divided, especially considering that some of my grandfather's children have already passed away and left children of their own (their heirs)?

There's another complication. Some members of the family don't even want the treasure to be found. Out of selfishness, they'd rather it stay buried forever than have it divided among everyone.

On top of that, if the treasure were ever distributed among the heirs, it would almost certainly become public knowledge. The rest of the family would find out, and eventually the authorities would probably learn about it as well, which could create serious legal complications.

From a legal, moral, and karmic perspective, what do you think is the right thing to do? If you were in this situation, how would you handle it?

What is the best book you've read for Hard Flaccid recovery?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the best book to better understand and manage Hard Flaccid.

I've come across these books:

  • A Headache in the Pelvis by David Wise & Rodney Anderson
  • Heal Pelvic Pain by Amy Stein
  • Pelvic Pain: The Ultimate Cock Block by Susie Gronski

If you've read any of them, which one helped you the most, and why?

I'm especially interested in books that explain:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction and muscle tightness
  • Hard Flaccid symptoms and recovery
  • Exercises, stretches, or relaxation techniques
  • Real-world strategies that actually made a difference

If there are any other books you think are even better, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

Which one is more practical and actually useful in real life?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have read one or both and saw any benefit.

Best Book on Pelvic Floor Dysfunction?

I've read a lot of articles and watched plenty of videos, but I'm looking for the single best book on pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain.

If you could recommend just one book that helped you the most, what would it be and why?
