Today was my first day playing real humans in COD [COD]

So I finally Jumped in a real game for the first time, today......after training with bots for several. And im pretty happy with this progress made only just today. I just joined a facebook group for women of call of duty and this post may be more suitable there, idk. But in the meantime, i just wanted to give this small update. I was the new player who posted a clip of doing a triple kill (hardened bots) the other day.

My first clip as a new God of War player. I'm an amateur but think I did pretty well for myself. love the fight mechanics.

I LOVE the atmosphere, story, tone and the gameplay. But I am still at the very beginning of the game. Fun!! I played games a lot years ago, mostly casual stuff. But then just kinda stopped gaming and only played cozy games (sims honestly and mostly just chacter creation) and now Im playing a bunch of tactical combat games!!! Life's good.

**Some parts of this video may feel choppy since I used editing software im not familiar with and im not the most skilled editor.** Im not going to follow the sub because I dont want spoilers, but Im so excited to keep playing this!

Im new to FPS and Cod!But im super 'proud' of myself for this at least! [BO] Black Ops

I just started playing cod: Black ops Cold war today and its incredibly fun! I had played other cod games for the very first time a few days ago and was kind of useless. I also just didnt like the warzone. But I decided to give COD another try! I know I have a lot futher to go to improve! But this was exciting. I've never been an FPS player.

Honestly blown away! Top tier game

I have been a gamer since i was an elementary school kid in the late 90s. I was a playstation girl. But i fell out of gaming. Got busy with other life stuff and now I'm returning to it at 36 . But hands down this is literally the best game I've played since ive been back. As a matter of fact, i dare say that its personally my own most favorite game ive played so far.

What I like :

• Im playing normal mode but its not easy. Getting swarmed is a challenge and then theres the giants that come along and hit you like Thor now and again . But im handling them pretty well. Thanks to the amazing fighting powers and abilities.

I will probably change it to hard later. I played half of cyberpunk 2077 on Hard mode.

•The atmosphere and story . I find myself really drawn to Lilith because shes striking and mysterious . I love the old world gothic feel. And overall im super into the fantasy+combat game genre .

•The abilities. A lot of games appear to allow you to earn upgraded abilities but often they hardly make a dent in gameplay. Its total opposite with this game.

Avowed is one the the best games out there! Idc if the game I love isnt well received by others.

Im a 1990 millennial female gamer and have been playing video games inconsistently my entire life. But as a 36 year old I have a renewed love of gaming thats stronger than ever before. So I basically decided to take gaming more serious and invest into it. I like fantasy, so elves, druids, dwarves, magic, futuristic fantasy like cyberpunk (love cyberpunk 2077)....whatever. Its my favorite kind of game. I started with Baldurs Great 3 and its a great, immesrive game but I find AVOWED to be 10 times more fun, despite it not being as heavily praised and endorsed and overshadowed by similar fantasy games. I hate the turn based crap.

I love the combat in Avowed!! The magic spells are fun and powerful and unlike the annoying sytem in BG3, they dont just randomly miss their target. I also hate turn based because its always 4 of us max, and in big battles 20+ of them, so we are essentially unable to fight back while a dozen or more enemeies deplete us. No thnaks. As for Avowed, I deeply enjoy the way the mechanics work. Theres so much to find with exploring. The colorful world that doesnt make me instantly look at it and feel gloomy and depressing is a vibe. Its a vibrant stylistic action game.

Im to the point now where Im OK if I love something and others hate it or call it mid. Even if i dont at all agree with or relate to the reasons why. Not every game others tout as the best things since sliced bread, are even fun for me to play. Like I hated Elden Ring. I hated Subnautica 2. I probably wont like RDR2. I absolutely loathed Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. And even if no one else gets why i connect with and enjoy Avowed, its ok. It doesn't need fixing . Im level 49 , street cred 50 and 92% edgerunner in cyberpunk, so i do enjoy AAA mainstream games, they just aren always better.

edit: I'm also playing Assassins Creed Odyssey and this one is definitely up there with Cyberpunk for me as far as entertainment level, despite being very diferent games.
